Would a mic. be necessary in this activity? because I never raided before and will try the pantheon hoping to get some raid loot without doing the whole raid activity.
While it isn’t, especially if you look for mic less runs, mics help with communicating buffs, debuffs and callouts. It’s also a lot easier than typing into game chat (especially if you aren’t a PC player or have a keyboard on console).
As someone who has done all the Raids and multiple runs of them I prefer a mic just for coms on callouts however with a well rounded group you wouldn’t need one specifically if your on add clear as long as you can hear your team you’ll be ok

Yes! Those from all raids mentioned.
Conditional Finality, Collective Obligation and 1000 Voices. Vex Mythoclast or Divinity (although Div isn’t earned through a final boss drop I guess) aren’t included.

what happens on Golgoroth if you keep the gaze longer than the timer?
Dps phase ends and the glyps behind golgoroth will fill for the amount of dps rounds you missed. If all the glyphs fill the encounter wipes

Gave it try in #Pantheon. Got through Golgoroth couple times, but stumbled in Caretaker. Plus some groups get real toxic towards raid newbies like myself. Maybe I’ll keep trying. Maybe.
Really? Pantheon is not a noob activity. It’s high tier and requires you have completed 4 different raids successfully in the past. Because of people like you, I’ve wasted 7-8 hours trying to get a single completion. With a good team I could do all 4 entire raids separately in less time than it’s taking to get through 1 Pantheon. We aren’t toxic, you just aren’t prepared and raids aren’t something we can carry people through. You’ll have a role and if you don’t do it we have to start over, and over, and over…Pantheon is for people who know what they’re doing, not for practice. It’s going to get harder each week.

The game should be for everyone, and no one should ever feel shut out of scared to do any activity. Also Pantheon is far from something that requires a lot of skill or knowledge. It just requires someone taking the 5 minutes to explain the how an encounter works lol

Planets is all about getting people to agree on orientation. Once you know that you're good to go. But its far from my favorite encounter.

So, the cheese is do the mechanics? I tried killing golgorath for about 3 hours with a few different teams and none could do it. I gave up on this.

Not all at once. But yes!
Right now the community believes that there will only be 2 quests, so if you completed the week one quest and chose an exotic, you will only be able to get 1 more exotic. The second quest isnt out yet but its basically 2 exotics per account across the entire pantheon. This is what the community thinks with the info bungie has given us.
Adding the fireteam filter will only help slightly

1 guy in, our normal every week group, couldn’t show today. Invited another clan member that said they’ve cleared many raids. Today they caused us to wipe so many fkn times I was going nuts. They had 67 deaths. That’s right. 67. So many wipes. Took us 4 hours. Ridiculous

The CareTaker is so dark and the symbols are so small.
Normally never bother with any of this stuff. just to toxic in raid groups

I have had really good experiences with the new LFG in D2. Honestly, the worst part has been getting into a group.

@@Wilhe1mScreamMedia Most of the community that has the ability to teach these raids are full of narcissists now. I’ve had too many experiences recently where I just see people get belittled and yelled at for no reason. Kicked right as boss dies for jokes. I have diagnosed ptsd and I just can’t do it anymore. It’s not the worth the risk of being yelled at over nothing. I’ve done all raids, I usually have the best or average dps. But the raid community is just too toxic for me now.
Man you better buckle up and KWTD if you want an easy time on these encounters. Def not new player friendly at all.

Pretty sure it’s just the adept weapons you claim from the triumphs that are bugged, so you can still do Pantheon and just not claim them until they are fixed.

Raids are not suppose to be easy. The best loot SHOULD be behind end-game content. I wanted the loot, I wanted the challenge, so I cycled through toxic people and finally landed on a capable and patient team. We took two hours.
Work for it. It can be done. Stop complaining, study THESE videos, learn, communicate, practice discipline, patience, and kindness.

It really just comes down to someone taking the 5mins to explain the encounter mechanic.
@Wilhe1mScreamMedia and then practice practice for a couple rounds if success isn't immediate. My God how many times did my team mess up the Gautlet in Leviathan or the plate callout versus Callus. But after a few goes , tweaks and supportive teamwork we rolled it easy.

yeah you don't need to do 'left,middle or right' on planet encounter. some people have left and right problems,just stay on 1,2 ,3 it's more common. he never encountered players with issues i guess,only those top players😅😉
