I'm just some teen so I can't tell you how to parent but deffenitly monitor what your children watch on youtube and tiktok or all social media's because there is a lot of very obvious sexual and NSFW content on there and it's not being hidden at all. If you haven't limited allready lol. Also I honestly wouldn't give em a phone till 16 plus lol. But that's just me. The less time their on their phone the more time they can spend with their family and for lack of a better statement live a little more than kids today are now. Kids are just getting raised by their phones these days so you'd imagine how their turning out generally.
Do whatever you want though lol. You seem to be a caring parent anyway so you know best👍

I love the title, "build a 3000w go kart AT HOME" --- it's nice when your home has spare go kart parts, frame tubing, tube bender, sheet metal, mig welder, axle grinder, all just... you know.. lying around.

I got to agree adding bends in that last few parts makes it look far better.
When I was a kid (in the 1960's) home made toys were on the way out and store bought toys were becoming the rage. My brother and I built a go-kart out of wood. Our father wasn't happy because we used his good timber but he was impressed with our ingenuity. Over the next year he made us a go-kart made out of metal (he was a boilermaker by trade). Both go-karts were people powered not motor powered. Eventually we towed the go-kart behind a push bike. We made a simple quick release. Our father would have to replace the brake about once a week. The go-kart came to a spectacular end about 2 yrs later when my brother hit a power pole. The go-kart was history, my brother had a couple of scratches.
