Montreal wasn't expected to win against Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vegas, and here they were in the cup finals. Yes, losing sucks, however, nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever.
You gave us chills and thrills, and as fans, we can't ask for more. Its was one hell of a wild and crazy season.
Thank you guys, and especially thank you to Carey Price for taking your team to the cup finals. If Montreal reached the cup finals it was because of Carey's performances. Bravo!

very well said! It says a lot when a team shows this type of class after such a heartbreaking defeat. They have nothing to be ashamed of. Getting this far in such a tight skilled league, beyond so many hurdles and doubts from others, to me it proves to be much more of an accomplishment than tampa winning the cup. They were expected to win again. Wheres the fun in that scripted story. Give me a whirlwind tale that Montreal spun this year going from barely making the playoffs to knocking off 3 big dogs they were given no support to beat. Tampa won in disgrace in my opinion. From the pompous arrogant statements, it goes a long way seeing how a person accepts win and defeat. A lot of talk is going to be about Kucherovs somehow drunken post game presser comments disrespecting his opponents. Drunk or not, that shows his true character and its ugly.

And to be very fair, Montreal wasnt running at $18 million over the salary cap like Tampa was. Gray area that they exposed and it is the NHL’s fault, but one team has like 5 guys making $10 million and the other has one. That’s a joke and everybody knows it.
