  • Thomas Coats, PhD, Royal Devon University Hospital Foundation Trust, Exeter, UK, discusses the future of artificial intelligence (AI) models in the field of hematology. Using AI models in image recognition will allow for improved efficiency and detection of high-risk areas within a sample. For AI models to be used for treatment selection and the accurate prediction of clinical outcomes and toxicities, Dr Coats highlights that high-quality, robust data sets must be collated. This interview took place at the 64th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Congress in Liverpool, UK.
