I don't really understand what people are saying about it being slow. It's not fast but for it's intended purpose it's enough. This car was made to be an economical reliable daily driver. Considering it does 5L/100km mixed while being extremely reliable, what do you expect?
I own an A4 1.9TDI 116hp that just passed 400k km and because it's slightly heavier and slightly more powerful the 0-100 is about the same. I never encountered a moment where I actually needed more power. Due to aerodynamics you can give newer 200-250hp SUVs a run for their money on the average roads due to them being so tall and so prone to body roll.
Anyways my point is, these cars fill their intended role perfectly. hurr durr not a proper way to say goodbye to TDIs, shut up and buy a 3.0 V6 Quattro

That's not bad for a 77kW engined car.

Tragicly slow and short 5 speed gearbox is even worse than engine.
This is final installment of 1.9Tdi in "modern" car and whan they did... I know it was on purpose to not making competition for 2.0 but man... This car should have 160HP and 6 speed.
This would be proper goodbye to TDi's...

@@ZanderAudio Ohhh you mean TDi in general, Many people consider only 1.9 as true TDi cause of the way they were built.

Your dirtbike weighs 10% of that car and most likely has 20+% of it's power. So yeah
