Jaida has slowly grown into one of my favorite RuGirls of all time. RuPaul might care most about Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent, but I also love a queen with brains, heart, and courage - and Jaida is all seven of those things, plus FASHION, baby.

Gigi's secret weapon is her mom for making most of her amazing clothes, whereas Jaida's secret weapon is herself as she designed/made all her clothes herself. They both absolutely killed it on the runway, but I got to give the edge to Jaida as she really is a self-made woman, the complete package!!
I completely agree; that's what gives her the edge for me.
I mean a lot of fashion queens have designers and such. They allow work with their designers and I'm sure Gigi does too. But yes, I feel like people should credit Jaida more for making her own clothes
Yes, it's important that Jaida made her own garments because it shows her level of resourcefulness and talentedness but I would argue that Jaida's runway looks side-by-side in many cases were more avant-garde and edgier than GiGi's look yet just as well-constructed. GiGi has some incredible looks and she has such a clean and elegant "ballet-like" 90s supermodel runway walk, however, Jaida took more fashion risks and chances. In order words, even if you didn't factor into WHO constructed their garments, I would still give the slight edge to Jaida as it relates to runway looks week-to-week/side-by-side. Jaida showed more range in her fashion silhouettes and designs whereas GiGi were very polished but somewhat predictable in terms of design/silhouette.
I agree. I understand most queens don’t make all their looks. However when your talent IS looks, then I expect the most interesting thing about you to be your mother and her talents.
Jaida gets my props for making so many flawless looks and having the most engaging personality of the three. She is the best spokesperson of the three and the best makeup artist. I just think she’s the best although this is my least favorite season, I want her to win that prize. She earned it.
TJ A Gigi isn’t a fashion queen and the only Fashion queens who won were Raja who made many fo her looks and Violet who was a more compelling intellect although I think she came off a little raw on the show I can see myself rewatching season 7 but would never rewatch season 12.

Im praying for jaida i want her to win so bad.... she made all those outfits. this is when the pageantry evolves with the show. i never thought a traditional pageant girl had a chance to win their seasons because quirkiness , outside of the box unorthodox competitors usually win... that and high fashion competitors... to see her here im so elated and proud of her.. so amazing....

I don't know if it's just me but does it feel to you like Michelle speaks to Jaida like Jaida is a colleague? With Gigi and Crystal, there was this sort of mentor speaking to someone who's learning. With Jaida, I almost feel like they're addressing each other as equals.

Jaida has my vote. We’ve had several recent winners who were lovable wierdos like Crystal or fashion girls like Gigi (who to be fair is also pretty funny). It would feel really fresh for a Queen like Jaida to win this season.

Agreed, but also... Jaida goes beyond the pageantry. She's smart, she's consistent, she's stable... I've never seen a queen that looks so much like a QUEEN before. Plus, she's funny! She's badass!

Jada is so solid. She knows who she is and she can turn a bad moment around. I love all these girls and GIGI is amazing. But I wouldn’t mind Jada “look over There” essence hall

I think Jaida is the most versatile queen. Gigi and Crystal have had 3-4 bad weeks, but Jaida only stumbled once.

Dalsemien crystal was pretty decent all season never really bombed a challenge. Gigi bombed a few. Jaida was great then subpar then great then decent. Honestly it’s anyone’s game
@@Iiuoypline I would argue that Crystal stumbled several times, and I think she lost the lip sync against Jackie (because she did not know the words correctly and her moves seemed out of place). To me, Crystal is charming but not ready, Gigi is talented but lacks spontaneity and wit when put on the spot. Jaida is the clear choice for me, and I would rather see Crystal bring it even more in All Stars, because I think she deserves a better run than she has had on season 12.

I love Jaida Essence Hall so much. She didn't only make most of her looks (on IG she gave credit to the designer for her outfit in the tulle challenge), she is so mature, naturally funny AND so gorgeous in and out of drag. From the season's reveal I do swear to God I knew she was the one.

meeting michelle in dublin i can tell you she is as beautiful and articulate in person,even though the meet and greet was full of queens (sharon,raven violet,adore,katya,jinx etc) i spent the most time with michelle because she was so homely and had so much knowledge about irish history which i was SHOCKED at!!! and she just talked to me like she was my mom,so caring and loving and she gives the BEST!!! hugs ever,ugh will never stop loving her

I just realized that C.U.N.T. is the an acronym for Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent. Lol when I first read your message, I had to re-read it cause I thought you were saying "SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY". It just dawned on me that the show's motto spells out CUNT. I've never seen the judges and Ru showing so much respect for a contestant because of her skills! In my eyes, they see her as a drag PROFESSIONAL.
I’m gonna say it, she should have won the ball challenge. Gigi was cute in the ball challenge but her final look was a cute and simple white dress with balls on it. Jaida’s was so much more creative and so much more exciting
ALSO, she made everything she brought to drag race herself and all of her looks were perfect. Gigi had some more conceptual runways and I loved all of hers too, but Gigi’s mom made them all for her

I love Jaida so much; she completely embodies charisma uniqueness nerve and talent and she's hands down my favourite winner PERIOD but I'm trying to imagine what season 7 would be like had she been cast on it (and when I say season 7, I mean Shakesqueer and all the other WTF acting challenges on that season).
