I'm a professional, I literaly sharpen knives for living both in my main job and in my spare time where I do professional Cooks and chef's, hunter's, Farmer's etc personal knives. This video in my opinion shows the most proper way to sharpen, hone and strop a knife. She also uses some of the best tools available today but it's mostly the knowledge and the experience, that will provide a proper sharp edge, which in the same time, witll be 2-3 times sharper, than most people's personal techiques.
Copy exactly what you see on this video! Only thing, that he could do to get it better, is the use of newspaper, for a final stage stropping, which is the only way, to realign the steels molecules. It's not needed though, becasue as you can see, that 54 number on that machine, proves, that edge is sharper than a surgeons scalpel.
