I need to get around to buying the Mig-19. Played it for 2 weeks on ECW via the trial and had a blast.

I have a Thrustmaster TWCS throttle and it uses a potentiometer for the main throttle axis… I need to dismantle the thing and clean the potentiometer every few months or it gets really spiky and noisy. I hate it. Wanna build my own throttle quadrant, and use Hall sensors as god intended

Yeah, I need to clean the pot in my zoom axis again. But not entirely sure if that will fix it or if the connections are just worn now

@@Dr_Jebus oh, do you have a TWCS throttle too? My zoom axis is also noisy. I have TWCS Btn2 as a modifier key on every module, and map the zoom to Btn2 + the noisy axis. Means I only get jittering zoom when I'm holding Btn2, I can still adjust it easily, and it otherwise stays where I put it

I also have the TWCS but since it was still in warranty I didn't want to open/disassemble it and void my warranty.
I currently am eyeing the VKB STECS but it costs 4 times as much and is currently not in stock for EU...

@@RoamingAdhocrat I have the thrustmaster warthog. It's lasted 10 years or so, so pretty good, but feel it might be on its way out. It's the thumb axis, which I use for zoom, has a pot that's going. If below 50% it jitters all over the place. I cleaned it not long ago, helped for a bit, now back to being bad. When I have time I'll try again
