I have both this one and the original. I bought it for the remaster and the bonus tracks. Back then, this was my first Narnia cd, so it holds some sentiment. The vocals were ok … I think he got better on future albums. Musically, they are a tight classic metal sounding band. Great guitarist and tight rhythm section.
I recently went through most of their albums and I have more to go through. I started buying thier albums back in 2021 and have them all except for At Short Notice Live in Germany CD. I have the DVD for that. The debut and Long Live the King are god. Course of a Generation to their latest are also good. I would rank these albums at least 7 or 7.5 out of 10. The 3rd and 4th Desert Land and the Great Fall are my least favorite, about a 6 out of 10. That's not bad for a band with a long history with 9 studio albums with compilations and live albums. I discussed the albums I listened to on my previous episodes.
I have this one and The Great Fall. They’re okay. I just don’t think the vocals are strong enough. This kind of music needs a powerful, more aggressive voice.
