Highland Cathedral played by Forres Pipe Band on High Street during 2024 Forres Toun Mercat

Forres and District Pipe Band entertaining crowds on the High Street in Forres during the Toun Mercat (Town Market) on Friday 7th June 2024. The band, led by Drum Major Mike Munro and Pipe Major Johnathan Scott, were playing the popular tune "Highland Cathedral".
The mercat is the highlight of the Scottish Week, which happens once every three years in June and is a celebration of all things Scottish. This year Scottish week included MacPiping Hot Forres and The British Pipe Band Championships, held in Grant Park on Saturday 8 June. Scottish Week is supported by Forres Local Event Services.
