What an inspiration! Reminds me very fondly of the high intensity of woodwind sectional rehearsals in my high school marching band on the day of a competition. This is the stuff that makes me want to pick up my chanter and get a practice session in!
I love the way he thanked them for doing as he asked! Musical masterclass!
As a piper, I would personally prefer to watch a band of that calibre 'set up' than simply hear their polished performances...

Couldn't hear much at the start with the drummers in the back ground but once they were finished it was excellent.
I'm using this as a demonstration of practice chanter work and correcting mistakes with the G5 band I'm in. It's a great example

it is too bad, it almost seems as if the drummers were trying to work with the chanters.
Listen through to the end of the recording and the drummers thankfully give it a rest!
It is a separate bands drummers, they are not supposed to be playing along with these guys😂
