- IDPB running through their She Moved Through the Fair Medley in advance of Qualification on Friday.
The Band had come off the back of another impressive season and placed 2nd overall the following day.
The tunes here were:
Masterblasters, An Cota Ruadh, The Islay Ball, Jig of Slurs, Skye, She Moved through the Fair, John Morrison of Assynt House, and Alick C. MacGregor.
I love this indepthness! Cheers from Virginia m8! One of my favorite Pipe Bands!
Absolutely fantastic music!
Always a joy to watch
Absolutely brilliant, my Scullion side if the family would be finger drumming away on the nearest table.
Sheet music for the setting of John Morrison of Assynt house they are playing?
can't help but be interested in what Stuart was telling that player at the start
reed fucked. too flat. Canny play unless new one is sorted. Play the now see how it goes.
Stuart didn't seem very happy
Thank you for the up load. 👍
Love u all... Aga Khan Pipe Band
The first tune is actually 'Masterblasters'. :) Thanks for the brilliant video (as usual)!
Thanks! Corrected....
Is the tuning equipment they are using some sort of Blair Digital Bagpipe product with a microphone?
It is the Peterson Strobe tuner
What kind of camera are you using here?
This was shot (if I remember rightly) on a Sony A73 with external mic. I use a variety of equipment depending on the conditions and now tend towards mirrorless cameras...
@@MrUlsterscot thanks for your info and everything you do to put these things out...they really are appreciated.
@@pipermac Thanks very much. I still have a lot of unpublished footage - and no time to sort it out at the moment! Your kind words are really appreciated.
@@MrUlsterscot Hey mate amazing video, which external mic are you using?
@@stevenbarnett1077 generally I have used Rode mics. It varies between the Videomic NTG and the older Stereo Videomic. I need to have the good off axis rejection for the noisy environment, but I honestly feel the stereo mic is better to properly reflect the music. Thanks for the kind comment and interest.
Young lad needs to blaw his pipes properly
