needless to say, im not the happiest camper right now
This is the level I’ve been trying to beat for months. It went from trying one after another to trying every week. Now it’s every month.

It was pretty tough for me initially because I kept following other's advise. Eventually I decided to use my favorite playing at the moment being the f-14, with long-range air-to-air. I also had the part that gave you better homing better damage and more standard missiles. I cleared out the first air Field, along with the convoys, and small out post. after that I did not focus much on air-to-ground the rest of the mission I hit air-to-air targets. since then I've replayed the mission with the a-10 which some people say is a horrible plane for this mission. 4810 I can easily take out virtually every ground Target at the base and the airfield. Also hitting the tunnel in canyon.

Don’t think it’s that just started playing had a hell of a run on normal seemed like I couldn’t miss would up with around 40k points still said I failed

This video helped by giving me some perspective, thanks. One thing that helped me is I used a F-14D ST. Used the 8AAM mussels. So 8 missiles and can lock on from 5000km instead of 2000km so I would blow up the F-16s before they even take off then the bombers right after. So 16 missiles in like 30 seconds. Also I wanna add that the planes in the tunnel do take off I think the last 2 minutes. So for those having trouble just destroy the base and then once they take off get them. Got 2060 points with 6 seconds to spare after 5 hours haha
Some excellent advice, as you can probably tell I don't really use the bombers all too much, so advice like this just helps thicken out the benefits for everyone!
I used the same thing he did with the LAGM and it worked just fine.
This mission is kicking my butt, and is making me bald.

Forget doing it hard, I couldn't figure out why the time kept running down on me and the mission failed on normal.
It felt like I blew up everything important, but can see I totally missed the third area.
There's no guidance on where you're actually going and what area is where.
I also didn't realise that completing missions was points based on this game either, so I was doing these totally blind.

Thanks for the video. Got me to within 1000 points of passing it. After nearly a month on this mission though it's ruined the game for me. No fun left no reason to carry on playing.

Well done tip Su-47 Berkut UGB with bomb parts can help you get 20000 points too that's how I did mine

Thank you for the guide. Been stuck on this mission for hours, but finally completed it. I wouldn't have even thought that the plenes in the tunnel increase your score
this mission is driving me crazy, I feel like I get worse every time. Was close to completing it, if I knew about the tunnel then that would have easily been it :D I have seen it but didn't realize you could fly through it. Time to try again!

LOve the flying through the tunnel tip! ( would never had thought to do that on my own) I was unaware you needed 20k points to get a "Mission Accomplished" I will watch for walkthrough videos you do in the future, and advise others to do the same.

Remember to go for big targets with your L AGMs.
Proceeds to use it on an area with two targets while an area with 6-8 targets is 50 meters away.
I am struggling in this mission even after I lowered difficulty to normal. Hope to get it finished next time.
Man, what a mission. I played it a handful of times until I found this video and it said get 20000 points. Didn't know that, didn't hear or read it. Make it to the tunnel, nothing in there? Will keep trying. Takes a lot to get to those points

This is the mission that stopped me from progressing and I must've done it at least 10 times. Eventually put the game down the year it came out due to this mission. Might try it on Easy or whatever if I can if I can come back to it (as I'm now actually in flight school lol) but wish me luck!

Once you finish it once, it's easy forever, trust my advice and go for that airport and the tunnel! You can do it!!!

On normal is 17k... closest as I got was 16760, ran out of time, can't imagine doing it with a 20k target score.
I hit the score quota but got shot down with 30 seconds left.
Now I remember slogging through this on Hard with the A-10 memorizing price points. When I came back to it on Ace with my clean new F-35c it was the business. I realized to attack all of the drones head on before they split. I think I had to change configurations after the first 2 camps, if I recall.
After 6 hrs and multiple's rage moments i finally did it
5:49 is the big rectangle (base) where u can refill misses just cross dotted line to land (read my previous comment to understand in detail). :)
The big issue is that according to the stories announcement you can't do a refill but if I re made this guide with one, I would suggest going after the first area, the air base.
Another thing to note is you can't get one of the trophies if you skip manual landings.

I see this level as bad game design rather than difficult.
If you run out of ammo there is a return line to refill. Same thing in Mission 11 and Mission 15.
I thought we couldn't use the return line as he said in the briefing because it was only for 'real soldiers' and not convicts like us? I realize I'm commenting on a post you made 2 yrs ago, so who knows if you'll ever see this but anyway - have a great day! Peace.
Omg .. This mission is driving me mad . I will get close & get smashed by a missile on the second or third base. No way I'm dropping to easy mode .

Idk why they make this mission so hard at beginin of the freaking gane... It's imposible damn! I hit 19650 AND iam tired of trying. I think this mission make people quit the game

One more thin if run out of misses or LAGM u can return to base refill and go back and fight airbase will be that bleu rectangle don’t try to land just cross the blue dotted border and u will see a cut scene where u are landing.
Shit like this makes it so obvious that developers arent playing their own games. 100 points for a major asset like a bridge? That is a complete joke.

I had 98% damage and no air to ground munitions with 5 min left and about 3000 points short. Before going through the tunnel I cleared the SAMs and AAGuns then flew back to base. Got to land, zero’d damage and changed SP weapon. Got back with 4 minutes. Got through tunnel plus some extras cleared the stage 300 points over. Thanks for the pointers GT. I almost gave up
On Normal I just figured out you can go resupply in the mission and armor back up to full health. I got this game 2 years ago and put it down because of mission 11 and now I’m stuck on this one lol

I've literally been stuck on this mission for a few months 🙈 on normal. It's blew my mind. I feel stupid. I'm just now trying the a10 with the 4 ground missiles. Any other ideas for best aircraft/parts/specials??? Someone helpppp 🙈🤣

Finally did it with the Mig-21 with the gun pods
Might have been more useful if he used a plane more appropriate for the job.
Like the A-10, you can get it in the early game and the bomb is much better than firing off two missiles at a time.
You can basically ignore fighters and drones.
Just bomb big groups, do a quick mop up, move on. Don’t get hung up on that one AA gun left.
it gets a lot easier if you use an a-10 or "brrrt" as you may call it, also using ugb's
Early on in the game most people have the multi role jets, if the a-10 or another bomber were unlocked early on, that would indeed make it a lot easier!
@@GermanTurtle to get the a-10 I had near no money but after 2-3 multi-player rounds only downing about 2 players per round I had enough for the a-10
I keep getting shot down with the A-10C! People are saying to use it, but it’s so useless because you can’t avoid enemy missiles with it!! It’s so slow!!!
@@thebosstex1172 if you use the 4 lock missiles and put parts that give the plane better handling you can dodge missiles much easier. Hit multiple targets quickly and pull away. And don't forget to use chaft
You don't get the warthog until later in the game.

This mission was fucking mean! Took me two days but a 8 hour shift to finally pull through. At least on 5 instances, came a mere minute from hitting a 20,000 score or dying by a AA Gun when I had ~19,900 with a single SAM to go.
Trust me when I say, use the A-10C Thunderbolt with grenade bomb; attack the first base to your left completely (mainly gas tanks & large aircrafts); follow the valley and hit the convoy and two SAM sites; "spaghetti-fy" through that canyon and use as many grenade bombs as possible; then attack the base far west.
The A-10C Thunderbolt is your best friend! No matter how slow it is.
Plus I play on HARD difficulty so strategy is key
