There will be a similar mission after this it is mission 15. on top of that in mission 15, Mister X and the sol squadron will spawn after you reached the requirement points to complete the mission.
In normal just go to both platforms and destroy all of the cores as quickly as possible. Don’t go for the things on top. If your smart and use your SP weapons you can also destroy the cores. Just be careful of your approach and watch out for SAMs. German Turtle basically said the same thing.
It's not that easy, if you are not targetting the soft spots. I for one, really liked destroying all the naval fleet, then the rafaele and SU-'s within 15 min. Couple of tricks, at this time I used a super hornet with couple of modifications and GPB as loadouts. Select the center of the ship (destroyer etc.) aim and fly by... once you are close, the circle turns red. either drop a double msl or drop a GPB, right at that spot... boom. SU's and Rafaele, are best shot with QAAM (second loadout)
TBH i had great success with EML as well. and of course, FAEB, cause that's a big ass FU button. Also, note that if you destroy a platform and there is a ship under it, the ship will die as well.
Lmao the creator says your loadout doesnt matter then uses top tier things that nobody in this stage of the game could possibly have. The strategy is good but not nearly as easy to use without the super upgraded loadout
I can make one for you, but if you want to pass while waiting, the best way to do it, is to set up an air craft with long range manual weaponry i.e. guided bombs, long range (not so good at turning) missiles, or a laser. Save your machine gun ammo for the boss fight, likewise keep track of your standard fox missiles. Then for the boss fight, the trick is to attack him head on unfortunately, this will result in a few deaths. The trick at the beginning is to remember where the Sam's spawn so that you can preemptively destroy them before they get more than one missile off at your escort. Took me at least 5 attempts before passing. Still haven't got S rating due to escort health :S
