They cut up the statue because it fell over due to some type of cataclysm. The people who found it didn't have the know how to stand it back up so they chopped it up.

I believe someone carved Ramses the great all over, long after his death. I believe they tried to cover up the story of Moses as much as possible so the high priests could maintain their status.

my opinion..The standing Statue was sit up there by Ramses as well as elsewhere...On was predynastic religious center. UT Pi Ramis was built in Godhen..the pharaoh of Tanis

You guys did an excellent job of bringing scale to the presentation. One has to wonder if the massive statues at Tanis that were "cut up" were damaged during the attempt to move them or were already damaged at another site all together.
What is the biggest recorded statue in Egypt. Besides the sphinx. What's the name of that broken statue of Rameses the great. I love anything to do with Rameses the great he truly was the climax of Egyptian power.

And addnl my previous: mention is made that Tanis is "part three" regarding the stonework - ditto ALL of KMT:
Layers upon layers - you can look at one temple and be viewing works separated by THOUSANDS of years. Karnak is an excellent example, though only a portion of it remains - and MUST be viewed as but one integrated section of the ensemble including Temple of Mut and The Temple of Man as one whole precinct.
Even on the Giza Plateau, it is long recognised than only 02% has been fully examined.
Whole cities still lie as Tanis once was....

The large statues at Tanis were brought down and broken by earthquakes, impossible to be reassembled, and only then were cut up and moved for other purposes. The same thing happened to the pyramids at Saqqara and Giza. The casing stones of Tura limestone came down after many earthquakes especially the one in 1303 AD. It was impossible to put them back so they were used for buildings in Cairo.
Great post. The thing is, These enormous statues show signs of heat damages or almost like they "blew up". They were most likely not cut up for buildingblocks but rather destroyed in the cataclysm of 10500 bc or earlier. They don´t have marks of cuts, they seem to have been snapped of. Just because the tourist guide says something doesn´t meen it´s accurate. My history teacher said a bunch of bullshit that weren´t the truth. Our history is more complex and amazing than we think today. I have been there also and I saw so many machine and advanced toolmarks there its unbelievable.
I have two words to describe Tanis "scorched earth". Hardly anything grows there. Look over that mud brick wall and you will see lush green fertile land. As for Ramesses the 2nd...that dude carved his name into any stone he could. He even nicked various stone from the main pyramids to build his own stuff...cheeky bugger.....peace to ya.

They might have been regular humans but not the Dynastic Egyptians or their pharaohs.

Not sure about the composition of the stones and recognizing which ones came from Amarna, but I'm sure that information is on the internet somewhere. The megalithic stones were moved to Tanis from P’Ramses by Susennes II circa 950 BCE. Ramses II was a Pharaoh for over forty years.

Hello guys. I need to congratulate them for the excellent videos and for their open minds in front of these wonders. In fact, orthodox science works like a mental cage when analyzing these monuments. It seems obvious to me that there was superior knowledge prior to ours. I believe Plato was not wrong. The Atlantis really existed and the Egyptians are descendants of them. They had a technology that was lost in time. I really like your line of reasoning - free from strings. Only then do we have the chance to understand, even if just a little, about these facts from the past.
Must look in to everything from the oldest history to find clues, i thought we are about the sixt human to come here and die, from those few who survived anyways....But before tales before history maybe many more.

The Sumerian tablets seem to tell us of a time we must take into account. The statues don't look like they are hand made. We have stories of stone being moved in the air.

This is the problem with us modern human beings, we don't give enough credit to the ancients instead we assume they were "primative". They were clearly sophisticated and extremely smart people. They would laugh at us trying to figure out how they built these marvels.

The most mysterious parts of ancient Egypt are on or near this ancient equator. One idea is that, during the Ice Age (i.e. Pleistocene) there was a narrow temperate zone around this equator - which is why so many famous sites are found on it.
On this analysis / theory, these structures and monuments are > 13K years old.
It makes you wonder what caused the statue at 1:50 mark to appear two-toned as it does..
That's the natural rock formation of the quartzite. Look up photos of places like Petra and you'll see the natural patterns and formations in the stone.
@@AncientPresence if you look at minutes 3:02 in the video, behind the top half of the obelisk... you see the bottom half of a statue, now what would cause the stone to melt in such a way? To that extent, was there a cataclysmic event, or some sort of sun bursts, that targeted that statue, as that doesn't look like a natural process to me!!!

If the Romans had the ability two thousand years ago to ship huge obelisks down the Nile and then in specially designed ships transported them across the Mediterranean sea to Italy and Byzantium(Turkey) and then re-erected them (And all this is well documented) then the ancient Egyptian statuary and masonry all had human origins and were not constructed by aliens and the like!
Sorry to burst your bubble, buddy, but you can't ship a 2 million pound stone on any type of vessel created at that time.
Here, I'll paint a picture for you: let's imagine you have the means to roll or slide (you don't, but for this exercise we'll forget that) this megalithic two-million pound rock (which,
encircled by 26 current-era construction cranes, we STILL can't move) onto a barge or ship.
Right, it's now on the boat, which (remember! two-million pounds!!!!) automatically sinks to the bottom of the river or harbor. Remember, again, if we can't lift this sucker TODAY, it is NOT going to happily float on some wood.
Okay, then: we put more wood under the boat. We can make the keel and underbelly thicker, like a wooden onion? Sure, let's design a more advanced ship, make it longer for more ratio equilibrium... keep in mind, its going to be winding along bends in a river, so it can't be TOO long. But at this weight we'll have a lot of wood buried on the bed of the river. The truth is, by the time you get enough wood under it to keep it afloat, it'll be sitting hundreds of feet above the water level. You HAVE to have a balanced weight buoyancy under the object of our argument. That means you need a buoyancy rate pushing upwards which is equal to the weight pushing downwards.
Sorry, man, logic wins. Am I saying aliens did it, or helped? Well, I wasn't planning to, but now that I've more closely inspected my own argument... As Sherlock Holmes would say, when every possible answer proves wrong, it stands to reason that only the improbable is the solution. But maybe they used magic.

Thanks so much!! 👏❤️🙏 I viewed all three of your episodes and undoubtedly, your extensive traveling and the way you chose to (no package deals, none of that) brings you and us close to the evidence that is truly rare to find! You all are probably familiar with Graham Hancock, Brien Foerster (whom you've mentioned), Michael Tellinger, Jimmy Corsetti (of Bright Insight). Indeed the way you walked us through the evidence literally leaving not a stone unturned, truly casts doubt on the official narratives from the established paradigms.
Being an academic myself (My specialization is philosophy of science and philosophy of physics) I think the work that you all do and those in the community of "forbidden archeology" is extraordinarily valuable because you point to the ocean of anomalies lying outside the paradigm of the institutional structures of "normal science."
If you look at the history of science you find that those trailblazers are seldom rewarded!
Consider another contemporary example involving Avi Loeb (another one of my intellectual heroes) who is going full-on gangbusters with his Galileo Project to engage the mainstream scientific community to to study UFOs.
Humans are curious, but we're also conservative by nature. We don't like mystery. I think it was Arthur Schopenhauer who said it best that when anomalies confront us there are three stages: a) The herd generally ignores them, b) then those who call our attention to them are ridiculed, c) and then they're accepted as obvious and trivial facts after a tipping point is reached, when experts finally begin to pay attention to them.
My scientific background is particle physics-- don't get me started! (The history of physics is rife with such examples, including the recent rediscovery of FRBs, which were actually known since the 1980s but ignored.)
Archaeologists and scientists are human too and subject to the usual biases and motivated reasoning.
And also, to be fair to mainstream science, I understand their frustration when amateurs come along in bull in a china shop fashion not having a grasp of the methods and the context and proceed to wildly speculate and assume that their hypotheses are just as good as decades of hard work.
I mean I get all that.
But this is where you guys come in and others like Brian Foester and Bright Insight and so many,... is that you're not just out there "running amok in the transcendent" (to quote Kant). But you're just courageously investigating and asking the right questions, regardless what other people say or think. That's the proper spirit of science: keep it up!
And yes, by the way, I do ascribe to the hypothesis that human civilization is much older with undoubtedly technologies that have long ago been subducted or processed by the Earth's biosphere. In science fiction this is known as the Silurian hypothesis.
But though I lean to that hypothesis, I don't necessarily allow that cart to drive the horse, because confirmation biases are very powerful. We just need to look at the data closely and thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for your long and positive comment! You bring up a lot of great points about the general manner in which scientific consensuses are finally changed over time, after great resistance and doubt. This is the slow grind of academia, which eventually leads us to great conclusions, albeit through a painstaking process.
We're definitely staying open minded to all possibilities and not holding onto any specific version of history. Honestly, as time goes on though, we're seeing less and less potential in a lost civilization having made the megalithic stoneworks in Egypt. This idea has captivated us for a long time, but the more we study, the more we find reasonable solutions to explain the difficult-to-explain artifacts. In our podcast episode 2, we discuss this kind of thing.
We definitely see problems in the mainstream approach, ie. downplaying the mathematic brilliance encoded in the Great Pyramis, but this doesn't necessarily mean that a lost civilization made the pyramid. It could just mean that the Egyptians were more knowledgeable than modern academics are willing to give them credit for yet.
There may have been a prehistoric civilization long ago, but at this point we're unsure and just staying open to all possibilities. We're gonna keep on exploring the ancient world, traveling to archeological sites and making videos on what we find. We have a big series coming soon on the Serapeum. Make sure to tune in for that!

Yes an earthquake could've knocked them over, as well as the Ramesseum statue. It's interesting that the big obelisk at Karnak is still standing in its original form though. The destruction of the huge statues is very interesting, but their creation and transport is the most fascinating part of the story in my opinion 😁

Yeah I watched this video awhile ago also, and it is quite amazing to see people accomplish such a great achievement. However the huge statues at Tanis must have weighed 4 or 5 or 6 times that weight when they were originally quarried, so these same methods become much more questionable as to whether or not we could successfully move more than 1,000 tons this way. We may never know lol.
