  • These incredibly flavorful Chicken Musakhan Tacos are the fusion of two wonderful cuisines. They are made with spiced roast chicken and spice-infused caramelised onions. A popular Palestinian recipe, Musakhan is marinated in a mix of warm spices and olive oil. It's typically served on taboon bread, (which is a bit like pita), topped with caramelised onions and whole chicken pieces. The succulent spiced meat combined with sweet caramelised onions infused with spice makes for a taste that is nothing short of extraordinary! We serve our Musakhan in tacos with a salad that is a cross between a Mediterranean salad and Mexican Pico de Gallo!

@hotandsunny, you won't regret it if you make it this weekend. You might make it again soon after that too. We've already made it again since making the video. We ended up with a lot of extra spice-infused caramelized onions too, and found lots of delicious ways to use it!

@SS-gh6jy, it truly is mouthwatering!! We are so happy to have discovered musakhan and to have found the idea of eating it in tacos. We do look forward to trying it the traditional way too!!

Nice! I'll have to try these although something tells me I will probably want more sumac. Near the end when you are chopping cilantro, you accidentally say "chop coriander" instead. The nice thing about this is if you are gluten free, you can use corn tortillas and still enjoy musakhan.

@raida00, thanks for your comment! Oops!! For me, coriander and cilantro are interchangeable! I call the herb both coriander and cilantro! Didn't mean to do that though.

I love this. I will try this but I will omit the cucumbers from the salsa I think it would still be really nice 😍. Free Palestine ❤️‍🩹❤
