- Hello, this video is to show how each of our X3's will react with the sway bar connected/disconnected, we removed the front sway bar on my (Jesse's) X3 and left Sheri's on.

Great comparison thank you!!
Greetz from germany. Your vid shows the true facts and important technic styles with or without swaybars. A very good teaching lessons....👍
Emma filming and spotting! The kids did great camera work, gonna have yourself a production crew! Thanks for sharing, guess I will be removing mine for the trails
Thank you, I’m excited for them to be able to experience this kind of stuff at their age. They love it.
Y’all just earned a subscribe on this one!
That’s awesome. We appreciate it. 💯
Great comparison video!
Pyro13 Filippone thank you.
@@TheCanAmCrew I also have a base turbo in silver, and yellow. I installed a torqlocker recently because of the viscolock issues, disconnected front sway already too. However I have upgraded to 30s and beadlocks.
Pyro13 Filippone we just upgraded to 30” carnivores yesterday as well. I’m pumped to see how they do. I’m going to look into upgrades the diff.
@@TheCanAmCrew I went the untraditional route. I'm running GBC Grim Reapers. So far they have been good, rode at Hatfield, Rock Run, and I believe Scrubgrass OHV park. Not sure where in PA you are, but Scrubgrass is a good time if you haven't been there yet.
Pyro13 Filippone we are in hollidaysburg so all those places are right around us. We’ll have to meet up one of these and ride.
I have a Wildcat Trail and ride in the areas. I really like the comparison. I just disconnected my front sway bar since we like the technical slow trails. Can't wait to see the difference.
That’s awesome, your gonna love how it rides. We’ve never put our back on.
well shhiieet them sway bars been off of there for a damn long time.. I knew you made this video, so I came to check how old it was and its friggin 3 years.. time flew
Haha time flies when you’re having fun
Yup, that convinced me. CA tech disconnect here I come. Thanks Bud.
benthepcsurgeon I have been looking at those too. If you get them let me know what you think.
@@TheCanAmCrew Just ordered them, I'll let you know.
@@benthepcsurgeon well?
@@mikes7405 Installed them but never ran them disconnected as of yet. Kinda forgot about them. LOL
@@benthepcsurgeon just looked at the website and of course out of stock. Impossible to get anything in timely manner nowadays! Had to drive quiet a ways just to get the X3. Fortunate to have these problems!!
Good video.. we ride a lot of the same places you guys do in our x3. (Saw you guys ride by at blue knob awhile back)
Looks like I’ll be taking my seat bars off.
John Elder thank you. We appreciate it. You will be happy you took it off for sure. Send me a message on our Facebook page next time your up that way, maybe we could meet up for a ride.
Your videos are such great quality. Would you mind sharing what video set up you’re using?
Holly Pee absolutely, we use 2 go pro hero 8 blacks...
My question for you is how much extra stress is put on the cv joints on the axles with all that more articulation from the front wheels traveling the full length of the shocks?
I’m not sure about other machines but I know with ours is that the axle actually has more articulation than what the suspension allows. Only reason I know is when we’ve broken axles we can drop the axle down further than what the shock lets it to swap it out. We’ve been running this was for about 6000 miles and so far haven’t seen any negatives.
@@TheCanAmCrew thanks, we just bought one for ourselves and we are going to do the Rubicon trail this summer and was curious about that
@@garyiacopucci293 that’s awesome. I’ve heard a lot about that. Please keep me posted on your thoughts when you do it.
@@TheCanAmCrew for sure, I have done that trail about 30 times and have introduced several people to it and none have been disappointed.
Hey 2 questions : First what is this spare tire carrier ?? Second what is this squeaked and clunking noise we hear when the suspension articulate ?
Not sure about the clunk aside from maybe the sway bar making noise but the spare tire carrier is super atv.
@@TheCanAmCrew thanks .
Have you tried disconnecting the rear also?
We haven’t. We do fast and slow trails so I’m thinking the rear might to much much for body roll
Guys thanks for this video information. I have been wondering how much of a difference it would be to disconnect mine on the X3. How does it run on faster trails with it off? Maybe I will invest in a quick disconnect system
It does have some body roll at higher speeds but we have no issues cruising through wooded trails 30-40mph. You learn to adjust some. But it’s not real noticeable in my opinion.
@@TheCanAmCrew awesome.. thanks. Hopefully when this pandemic slows and borders open we can hit more trails in the USA...those trails look good in PA
Did you do anything with the rear sway bar or just leave the factory connected?
We left the factory rear sway bar hooked up since we do a lot of faster trail riding. Seems to work out for us pretty well
@@TheCanAmCrew a simple tractor pin used in place of the bolt that connects the rear sway bar to the link makes for an easy quick disconnect.
That’s cheaper than running some of those 12v quick disconnects haha.
