This deserves so many more views, it’s time we make our own platforms to tell our stories
Very important
Yes I agree, I believe We can make our own social media platform.
If you found this video valuable It's important you share the link with everyone you can. Chat groups, WhatsApp, blogs, Facebook groups, telegram groups and emails. It is the only way my videos will get reach. If you are personally responsible for 10, 20, 50, 100 people seeing it and then sharing it, that makes a huge difference. Thank you!
It's like what WEB DuBois famously said, "all art is propaganda".

as a Pan african i 100% agree with you
Thank you!
If I could like this video a thousand times, I would.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who left the theater upset and disappointed with Wakanda Forever. When Namor took Shuri to see his home, I joked with my friend that Namor and Shuri should just marry each other and form a pack in order to protect themselves from the West trying to get the Vibranium. It didn't make sense for him to want to kill Riri. Does he really think that by killing Riri, all of a sudden, those vibranium machines will cease to exist?
I don't know what Ryan Coogler was thinking when he was directing this film, but this wasn't it.
Queen Ramona was killed, no consequences for the murderer.
King T'chaka was killed, no consequences for the murderer, or in this case, the conspirator who mind controlled Bucky to do the explosion...🙄🙄🙄

@_themerc I have already shared your video and I'm even having my husband watch it because he didn't like the movie as well...lol
I wanted to be a part of the live, but I don't want to show my face when I speak about important topics. When I build up the courage to do so, I will eventually do so. Keep up the good work that you do.
This was a very thorough commentary. I agree with everything you said. We still don’t own our narrative in determining who we are. We must have platforms independent of mainstream media in order to tell our true story.
You brought the SMOKE !! Excellent analysis !
A sit down between The MERC and Magatte Wade is a must.
She's won't do it. Scared.
You are a gifted man. Your eyes are WIDE open. Hence, you needed the shades. A fair analysis.

You nailed it, bro!
Excellent Analysis.
This man is very intelligent ❤omg amazing
My Brother, This VIDEO here gave me chills. You went deep in2 da psyche of how the Western European thinks.. i mean you were hitting point after point. Opening up alot of people eyes. If you keep dis up CIA, FBI, will put a hit out on u.. No matter, Keep making these hits.
The Queen of Wakanda asked "Have I not given everything?!" Then, she gave her life. What a tragic movie. 😢
Thank you for making this video. I have the exact same views walking away from this movie. It was as if we, as a people, have not learned from our past mistakes. And I did not like the fact that Black people were fighting with Brown people. It made no sense to me other than to push an ideal or agenda. And these are the reasons why the Black Panther movies are not a part of my personal library.
We shouldn't be surprised about this negative messages in Wakonda Forever and Black Panther. The story is directed by an Imperial bully culture why would they empower those victims they bully. Whats worst is seeing African people get excited about this movie.

I believe Lupita's character is in Haiti because shes doing Wakanda's outreach program.
Good work bro. You put a lot into this. I’d have to watch more than once in case I missed anything.
Merc Phenomenal breakdown bro and u speaking Spanish damn
I love the way you broke it down. It is just like rap music promoting black on black violence.
This is so deep. I only wish there are more people concerned about things such as this. Thanks Merc for educating us.

Your philosophical perspective left me……wow
Sir, your analysis hit its target. Thought provocative aim that hit the roots of contradictions of unfortunately to many sponsored african movies..

Amazing video
Brilliant! I didn’t look at things from this perspective but it certainly is very eye opening and thought provoking.
@themerc Big up man thanks alot for this essential content, your message truly is prolific and I wish you nothing but the best bruv, cheers🙏🏾
I have a new fiund respect for this bro. Indept analysis. It is mind bogging how our people can oppose this truth. It truly shows the extent to which the narrative has infiltrated the subconscious of our people to the point of mental blindness, it is scary but keep on doing whatvyou are doing bro. There is light at the end of the tunnel, see what has happened in Mali and Burkina faso and more shall come.

Wow very deep insight thank you
Thank you the Merc, the way you explain and break things down is incredible and eye opening, I'm glad I didn't spend any money to go and watch any of these movies, the west does not want blacks to wake up and stand up for our rights. 👍🏾

this is the perfect take on this movie, more people have to treat these hollywood blockbuster media as the pro establishment propaganda that they are. We, people from the global south, wont "be represented" our way to actual emancipation

This is a great analysis of the sequel of Black Panther, Wakanda Forever was a divisive movie I am hoping Black Panther 3 is better

Excellent vid
Wonderful Analysis---yes I watched it---i loved the graphics, etc. BUT I also cringed ALOT---in both movies---your analysis gave the context to that---Absolutely correct on so many points---I was pissed off during the movie so many times ESPECIALLY when the mom died...anyway---we have to CREATE our OWN heroes. WRITE our OWN stories. DECLARE our own ENDINGS!! Thank you
Ahh baba you really open my head i thought the movie was interesting but I was blinded 😂
I agree
You are not alone -there is a reson why I didn't even bother to watch the sequel. This why Nnedi Okarofr refuses to be labelled an Afrofuturist and coined the term Afrikan-Futurism.

Respect to you family. I enjoy your show. I watch it all the time. This film was created from an American perspective. No disrespect at all but maybe it should have been created by an African so Africa could give her perspective. The continent has a lot to say to the world in the days to come. It is time for the continent to speak louder and claim respect. I feel we in the diaspora and the continent need to have a dialog. I want to build with my brothers and sisters across the ocean.

It is called psychological brainwashing
Thats why i didnt like Black Panther. As a french speaking African woman from a, it made no sense at all. Killmonger didnt have to be villainzed like that.
When I become a president you will you be my advisor ❤
Thanks!
Can't wait to watch this. For me, this film was Wakanda Forever: Mexicans Better. 😂
This film corrected the mistakes of the first film (eg the CIA were shown to be enemies of Wakanda, not allies even though they kept Agent Ross as 'a friend'), but then ruined everything that made Wakanda special by giving it to the Underwater Mexicans lol
Did Ta Nesi Coates write this screenplay??
No idea
Nice
Thanks
@@_themerc They also have the FBI documents concerning the Nazis being taken to Argentina, Chile, etc and Israel. They knew Hitler lived in Argentina
At 14:15, I think the atomic bomb had in the long run a very positive impact in human history. It forced us (esp westerners) to cooperate on a large scale, knowing the apocalypse which will follow if folly ever hold our leaders. Though I think the peace may not last long, unfortunately.
Killing Japanese had a positive impact in that it brought peace among Westerners? WTF🤯
the only thing it did was to export your wars to the global south. Search which countries were/are involved in "civil" wars on africa, asia and latinoamerica since the ending of WW2
@@giu941 Errrm... I'm a black African 🙂
I havent watched the second movie of wakanda. But I was a huge fan of the first one before it came out. Then I watched it and I felt like no black movie can be made without the narrative that blacks can’t bring things to success without the help of a white man or the USA… and a few more negative things… I didn’t think as much as you into it, but that was enough for me to dump black panther.
What I wanted to say is, yes, you are completely right.

@@_themerc i always do! And By the way thank you for bringing up the black perspective. I thought I was the only one to think that way my whole life. Respect!
After watching Black panther I knew the whole ideal behind it was horribly twisted. That is also why I rarely bother to watch US films anymore. Propaganda is sickening. And you pretty much already know storyline cos it's pretty much same one they been pushing forever.
