Kristin and Audrina were actually friends off-camera during these two seasons. This was all set up and you can tell by Audrina smiling the whole time and nearly leaning in at one point to almost hug Kristin -- then the camera of course, cuts. Kristin has admitted they were never on bad terms and that also, most of them were pretty tipsy (at least she was) when this scene was filmed.

Kristen is my absolute favorite! She's fun and fiery- she's not perfect but she speaks her mind, shes confident and it's hard for her not to steal the show. I think her bubbly awesome personality made laguna beach and the hills awesome. Everyone else on the show was pretty boring to me or mean girlish.
