I have a feeling the show was pushing Kristin to keep Shannon longer than she wanted to so there would be extra potential storylines, but Kristin eventually put her foot down and did what was best for her company instead of her show.

Dan Garcia and the items are gorgeous, but soooo expensive! Imagine springing for a piece of jewelry and then not receiving the item or getting bad customer service. I like the show, but she needs to focus on promoting a professional image for her business, which she is clearly very passionate about.

It’s not as simple as that. My bestfriend used to be a social media marketer and she’d literally have to carry her laptop around wherever we’d go because she’d have a set time to post something, answer questions, answer emails, make sure you’re creating fun contests on a weekly basis and so much more. It’s like 24/7 work. When you post it’s for fun but when you’re forced to post it literally takes all the fun away from it. I’m a higher end hairstylist and my entire life on social media is devoted to hair. I have no personal accounts anymore because I no longer find it fun to post my personal life. Social media is one of the biggest hair salon marketing tools and now Instagram just seems like another way to advertise rather than just showing fun photos of what I do on my days off.

Allie Paige I guess everyone’s idea of a fun job is subjective. You should take a small online business class and apply to be a social media marketer at some businesses (that’s exactly what my friend did). Given the fact that advertising is so heavily prevalent online now tons of places need someone to handle that. You may even be able to make it a side job.

Grisel Griselda depends on the company and what duties you have. My gf was a social media marketer for a real estate company and I believe she made around $40,000 annually. That’s why a lot of people do it as a side job if they can keep up.

There’s always a million of things that can interfere with something being done that a boss doesn’t always see since they aren’t always boots on the ground, but validating that a link works in a newsletter or a link on a picture works it’s pretty much the most basic black and white bare minimum check and work someone can do. Like literally do your job. It’s quite simple. Email

Yeah. And I can’t help but to think about her leadership - as to why expectations aren’t being met. I think part of what is going on is a reflection of management. And the other element is the caliber of personnel being Onboarded.
Although, we don't see everything that happens at her company, in a typical 40 hour work week, I do sort of question Kristen's leadership because she seems to allow personal carry over to professional, with her employees, which should never happen. I am a supervisor, have been for several years and I do believe in being friendly, personable etc with employees and make them feel comfortable, however, we don't discuss our home lives, don't go out together, they don't come to my home and I don't go to there home, which isn't a horrible thing but sometimes, employees that think you're friends with them, will try to take advantage, show up late, call in or not do the job that's required of them or won't do their job to the best of their ability because they think a friend won't fire them and can get away with whatever they want

There was zero problems between us, but she, as a manager, would hang out with our coworkers. I told her many, many times not to do so. Every time they went over to our place, I’d lock myself in my room. Wouldn’t even say hi. At work, I was cool af. I wasn’t even a manager but I love putting boundaries between coworkers. It’s the best thing to do!

Best reality show star of 2019. She and Jay made an awesome all-American couple, like Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson but stronger in their personal goals. It's great seeing Kristin do so well in 2022 a year after divorce. Talk about spoiling for a comeback.
I'm sure a lot of this is cut up, but I would NEVER work for someone like Kristin. She doesn't seem to have any skill in hiring top people and then compensates for her lack of business sense by bitching people out till they feel deflated. She seriously needs a buffer person to do all her HR work. She may be smart and full of great ideas, but respecting her employees and keeping her cool is not her strong suit.
She eventually got HR which fired an employee everyone complained about then Kristin rehired her...

I recently was employed at a place where it was an all female staff and let me tell you now they all were downright nasty and mean to me. I was nothing but polite and respectful and they were disgusting, unprofessional, and basically pigs. It caused so much trauma for me
Yeah my mother works with all womne and she constantly complains. At her old job there were mostly men and she got on well with all of them. Idk why women are so aggressive at the work place.
Men are all about logic, no drama, and just getting the job done. Women want a soap opera. They’re a nightmare to work with, and especially for.

Final note, Shannon is a business lesson learned in human form. I would not employ someone for that long that has a long string of “human errors” to their company history record, when they’re supposed to be a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER. That’s MAJOR I don’t care/slacking/avoidance issues. I would’ve let her go after the month long lack of updates on Pinterest & constant non clickable links in emails. Especially the emails. That can make or break your bottom line as a business when social media & email is such a huge part of revenue for businesses nowadays.
