Got a surprising amount of requests asking to talk about Targeting Adjuster, so here we are. Hope someone out there finds this informative. Blue cheese top tier, don't @ me
Can you do a explosive rounds video?
This would be a nice series, especially if you recommend weapon and archetype that benefit from said perks
How does backup mag work? /s
Big nerd over here! I just love hearing information/stats about a game I freaking love!
I would LOVE to know about the standard and enhanced targeting perks. I know they help but I want a know if I NEED them in crucible or if I can go for different rolls.
do ALL mods... make it a playlist so we can just run through them.
Yeah I think as D2 heads more into an MMORPG, everybody's gonna start to be more and more interested in the numbers. Hopefully Bungie realizes and gives us easier access.
Yes, I was just thinking I wish he would do all mods.
Honestly I want warframe like UI for stats window , most of the thing dont make sence to me nore bars are very usefull to determine or compare one item to other
@@jacobm9697 hey, you stole my name
@@nobody4y Comparing warframe weapon stats can be a bit of a pain. *THE NUMBERS MASON WHAT DO THEY MEAN* I think Destiny 2 kept the "casual" weapon stat bar design and not down to the hardcore maths because only one bar affects damage (Impact) and it's generally decided by the weapon archetype. Other weapon stats don't really need exact numbers, unlike Warframe with stuff like Multishot, Crit chance, crit multiplier, status effect chance, etc.
Aim assist is rather dope until an enemy runs across your sight while you are shooting at another enemy.
D'andre Rogers I HATE THAT IT MAKES ME SO PISSED

Also when blueberries push you out of cover and make you die is probably the most infuriating thing
Agreed I am competent enough to aim at my own target. I would disable all aim assist if it were possible.
@@poppagamer4510 You would be surprised how necessary sticky aim is for controllers. Some shooters allow you to turn off aim assist, and when you do, it's a nightmare. Almost impossible to aim at enemies medium distance if you're not used to it.
"Is anything straightforwards in Destiny?" No, but there are consistent things, like the fact that shotguns are inconsistent.
Except when other people use them on me in Survival.
@@realCharAznable At least it's inconsistent enough to let your team's potato get away so you gotta spectate him running from it for 40 seconds. :D
Put an Icarus mod on that shit. The game for whatever reason will Mark you as airborne if the terrain is uneven which will mess your shots up
I mean sure, if legshot OHKs consistently is an inconsistency
Yet somehow I aim for head and do 13, but they aim for my legs and get a headshot

"I didn't really think there were any secrets to the targeting adjuster, no tricks on how It works..." I thought the same about counterbalance and the recoil stat, and that the barrel of a shotgun was not tied to the range, and bloom, and damage buffs and using Ursa on a well of radiance, and mobility affecting walking and jumping but no sprinting, and perks/exotics with hidden bonuses...But here we are.
in the bright side, It's always fun to learn new things about how Destiny works.
can you link me the video about ursa and well of radiance? what happens exactly?
I'm not sure if there is a video about It, basically Ursa is supposed to give you Super energy when you block damage from enemies but if you are in a well of radiance then you don't get super energy at the end of it.
the main comment you'll get is "just stand outside of the well, lol" but then you have the problem of a lot of enemies and taken ogres that will push you into the well
"The average player might not care about getting too much info, where it might get confusing"
This is bungies reasoning for everything in the game...it's why we don't get numbers, it's why we have set skill trees now.

@@FalloutPlays thanks
Honestly, I’ve been asking for a breakdown of the perk Demolitionist. I’m curious how it interacts with different weapon types, and how much grenade energy you get with different amount of grenade mods and exotics that give you recharge.
I second this
you get a grenade back every 4-5 kills, each grenade gain is the same or is very similar, it’s a very simple perk and there’s nothing interesting to dig in
axcel m I disagree. I had a shotgun with this perk, and got my grenade back in only 2 kills when one of my gloves had a grenade mod on it. Similarly, it only took one kill when my Titan had an active Hallowfire Heart.
There is more complexity to this perk in how it interacts with other mods and armor perks than you’re giving it credit for.
@@heaventsentsaint Primary weapons dont give as much grenadr energy has heavy/special its seems
I’ve had an Orewing’s Maul with it for a while and love it. I feel I get close to a full charge if I kill multiple enemies and like half on just one. But grenade launcher, nade to reload instantly, grenade launcher, almost another grenade. I use all super mods. I can confirm it later in the evening, not home atm.

Exactly, how much. Does it depend on weapon type, is it a flat value or a percentage, etc...

Black Steel Kita so easier to snipe heads right?

Can you talk about how much Free Hand Grip helps?
Also does Bullet Magnetism work when hip-firing?
Also does Bullet Magnetism work on projectile attacks such as Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers?
Also ranch dressing for lyfe
'Also does Bullet Magnetism work on projectile attacks such as Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers?'
I don't think this is to practical as you see how close u need to aim to activate it.. A rocketlauncher will kill with that blast radius anyway when you are this close to activating the magnetism..
Don't think its really possible to test this... But who knows..
They are projectiles, not hitscan so they will follow different rules, in actual fact in some ways they are a bit harsher as you need to lead your shots and if you're unlucky it can expose inconsistencies in the hitboxes. They might have a Hitbox roughly equivalent to the radius of the hitscan Raycast aka 'bullet magnetism' (a bit of a misleading term, as there is no 'bullet') so functionally are pretty identical.
100% would agree on a video for free hand grip, I’ve used it in multiple weapons and don’t see any difference
on Bullet mag when hip firing - No, when hip firing your shots get bloomed into a cone, and will hit randomly inside of that cone
on Bullet Mag with rocket launchers / gl's - Also no, their OHK range is dictated by blast radius and the projectile will go where aimed, even when ADS. The exceptions are tracking rocket launchers like Truth, and your reticle will still stick, but the explosives themselves will not innately gravitate towards people.
Now that you’ve “targeted” the targeting adjuster, how about “targeting” the “targeting armor mods” now?
Yes, thats a lot of targeting
Sexy pic
Is there no enhanced pulse rifle targeting, i hav never seen anything other that hand cannon, sniper, shotgun
Yeah I got multiple on helmet

Aim bot has the same issue :(
I had the same issue on my spare ration. I would suggest that with weapons that inherently have high aim assist forego targeting adjuster.
Is Icarus Grip worth using? Especially in PvP?
Cam Ettery try Icarus grip on the new gunnoras or good bone structure it’s like a chaperone you can hit jump shots with
yes
Yes, if you like jumping and shooting, which is actually an effective strategy with certain weapons. I like it on snipers so i can peak cover up instead of just left and right and get some sneaky kills.
Yes. Good on just about everything.
Take advantage of all that unused space in the air.
Icarus on a sniper is God tier
This should become a series, especially when Shadowkeep and mods 2.0 comes out. Great work!
I am enjoying he new (well, sorta new) rambling craziness that goes with the videos. You sir are getting better at this every damn week.
I'm repeating my question from the counterbalance vid:
How does Tap the Trigger affect fusion rifles?
"Grants a short period of increased stability and accuracy on initial trigger pull."
Isn't that, like, every time you fire your voop machine? So is it a permanent buff to stability and accuracy?
To put it another way:
Do you prefer Rangefinder or Tap the Trigger?
My slogan since D1 is, "Rangefinder makes any fusion rifle 3 times better" (meaning 3 times more likely to score a kill). But should Rangefinder be concerned about competition from Tap the Trigger?
Tap the trigger is infinitely better on most fusions in slot friend. It's just a flat buff to stability and it gives you a better hitbox thanks to accuracy. Rangefinder isn't quite as necessary with long zoom scopes. It's also fusion rifle dependent.
I’d really like to see how targeting adjuster vs counter balance affects the same rolled fusion rifle. Love all your vids btw always helpful!!!
Thinking about it with snipers, do I want the 5 aim assist, or a vertical recoil
So this just showed up in my CZcams feed while i had been wondering for a while what exactly it did, so that was convenient timing, and would like to echo the request to create a playlist of videos like this, at least of the ones you've already done
these have been some of the most useful and instructional videos on destiny mods yet, keep up the good work!
Every time I hear Fallout's voice, all I here is "shotguns are...inconsistent"
"Here in my Garage!" Had me DEAD!!! I approve of the Flame!
"Every little bit helps" is a useful motto to keep in mind while playing this game. So useful in fact that Banshee-44 just said it to me earlier today before I stumbled onto this video.
I stumbled upon your barrel length video and I've been hooked on your channel since. Your sense of humor is superb! Keep up the great content my friend!
Finally! Been waiting for a good explanation on this mod for PC.
This video really doesn't help tho. Whether this mod helps or not on pc is pure speculation not based on anything. Where fallout got the idea, that higher AA means more bullet magnetism, explained nowhere.
Was thinking about subscribing till man started talking about Blue Cheese and Wanted.
This could potentially be a new series, hope it is tbh, love the format of the vids and how informative they are.
You killed the video, you made it so simple with answering more questions they may have.
“Fallout, does this mod suddenly make me good at comp?”
Yes.
Question: Freehand grip says it effects ready speed when hip firing. So does that generally effect weapon swap speed or just the speed it goes from ads to hip?
To me it feels slightly faster with everything. When you initially pull a gun out or swap weapons, you’re technically already hip firing therefore it’s faster. I’ve put freehand on my recluse and revoker, both previously had targeting adjuster, the result is I’m able to switch weapons and fire faster than before. I can’t gauge how much but will I will say is those extra milliseconds make it worth it when you’re trying to get kills you normally wouldn’t get in a panic situation.
I wondered that to...how is that a thing? Aren't you usually in hipfire when you swap to your weapon?
3:39 LMAO! that tyler lopez reference was absolute gold. Subbed brah
I enjoy these videos that go into depth about perks and aspects of weapons
Fallout knows what’s up. Blue cheese over ranch for those wings!!! Keep up the great content man. You have approval from this Buffalonian 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Please, does targeting adjuster stack with armor mods like hand cannon targeting or weapon rolls like moving target? How about all 3 together?
Thanks man! You’re presentation is awesome! Flawless transition!

1:10 "...I wanna keep it and use it to plow people..."
Heh, phrasing...
Man, I do miss my clean, lubed up kitchen floors...
Fallout, I would just like to say that I really appreciate how you address and discuss the differences between console and PC. It's really helpful, particularly considering how many major streamers and content creators have switched to exclusively playing PC.
I love how you can just barely click the fire button and hand cannons will start rolling its barrel or whatever. Such a little feature yet so cool.
I'm just now getting back into Destiny 2 after taking about a year off and I'm finding these videos to be very informative especially with trying to catch up with the new mod and armor 2.0 system. I can't recall the name of it, but I got a bow from the forge that has Archers Tempo and Rampage on it but use the target acquisition mod..and let me tell you, this thing just eats through enemies very quickly with very little effort. Half the time I just draw the string back and fire while aiming in the general direction, and I usually get a hit. You can do this quickly as well and you don't really need to fully pull the drawstring back if you have Archers Tempo and Rampage going. It's great for doing bounties and public events.
I have an Arsenic Bite with rampage/archers tempo with a draw time masterwork and it's my go-to for just about any non-endgame content. I pair it with my trench barrel/flared mag/reload masterwork Perfect Paradox and my feeding frenzy/overflow Forge machine gun. I also use The Helm of Dire Ahamkara with top tree Voidwalker and tier 10 discipline with Enhanced Ashes to Assets. It's such a solid and fun build
@@AaronBeSpeedy that sounds like a pretty good void build. Are you referring to the hammerhead machine gun? If so I have one of those with tap the trigger and rampage, it's my go-to weapon for forge activities. Since The Vow bow was released, I have now switched over to using that primarily since I don't have a godroll bow that is masterworked. I do have a masterworked arsenic bite though but the perks on it are not that good although it does have a very quick draw time and served me well initially...I just wish I would have taken the time to research the perks a bit further before masterworking it. :/

Bobomen because console destiny sucks compared to PC. I play on console and my laptop runs D2 at 2x the settings of my xbox
It's another world on PC.....played the PC version for 2 weeks and hop back on the Xbox one X version to do a quick raid with friends, felt like someone put Vaseline on my controller and hdtv
Because there's little to no recoil on weapons on PC and it's easier to shoot
Yea sadly
Some Scrub Nah, not really... Games like cod feels great on controller
Huh. So does this not additionally affect tracking rockets? I always assumed it improved their tracking.
I don't think it's the same since it's a projectile and not a hitscan weapon.
Hitscan being that the bullet will hit the place you're aiming the second you pull the trigger and a projectile having travel time and being generally more visible.
Bro you are hilarious! Thanks for the clarity!
Watching this during solstice 2020... been an interesting year
i have a reason to believe that Warlocks melee slower than hunters and Titans. Can you test this out please? the test would be which class can do 2 consecutive melees the fastest?
T Pow. Hunters melee faster always have. Don’t need to test it.
I'VE WONDERED ABOUT THIS TOO. May look into it. Titans seem like they have really fast punches, right?
Warlocks either melee slower or the servers suck. The amount of times I melee first, or at the same time, and the enemy still gets the 2nd melee off faster is insane
Hunters are just faster
Warlocks have the slowest melee.
Been this way since D1.
But back then, warlocks had more range to even it out.
Unfortunately, Bungo in their infinite wisdom evened out all the ranges, but didn't adjust the melee speeds
It turns you into Guido Mista from JoJo when enemies just barely make it into cover but are one shot.

Well is not like PC players have incredible Accuracy and Zero Recoil anyway, once you get use to PC and play for about 3 to 4 months then, you already get use to shooting with Mouse and don't even need Aim Assist
