WEIGH IN BEFORE TRAVELLING FULL TIME - Do We Have A Problem?

In this episode, there is only 12 hours until we leave only full-time in our caravan, At least we’re hoping so!
As you know, we have done weigh in prior to packing the caravan and now that the caravan is parked ready for our travels. We are doing our final caravan and car weigh in.
Will we have any problems that arise that stop us from travelling now?

Tip for your parking. 1. Stop then put transmission in neutral. 2. Apply handbrake. 3. Release foot off foot brake and then reapply foot brake. 4. Put transmission in park and turn off engine. This method takes pressure off the transmission when parked and wont clunk when you restart the engine and shift into drive.

Hi guys, great result with the final weigh in. Don't worry about unpacking and reweighing everything - just empty the water tank at the back - we never drive with 3 full water tanks, fill up as close as possible to your camp. You'll work it out as you go.

Just remember you don’t have to carry full tanks off water food you buy at major towns it cheapest way Spare fuel fill up When you know you’re going to remote places it’s just planning what I do. I look where I go work out how much food water fuel just to keep the weight down. to the next stops
Hi how are you? Can I ask why after all this effort you didn't have jerry cans with fuel? Also do you have food in the van? Fridge stocked? Also do you guys have life jackets, flares, bailer, fire extinguisher, torch, oars, anchor for the tinny?
Yes the van is completely full of food and yes we do have those items the only item we didn’t have on board was a jerrycan with fuel 😊

no point stressing about bloody 50kgs, jes you'll do your heads in every day for the whole trip.. keep it simple.. if u had an accident you think they are gunna scrap up all the shit and weigh it... never heard of anyone being weighed anyways, you've done your best to be compliant and legal so be happy and dont stress over a bag of cement...

Just before you head off check your rego requirements as you no longer live in qld and your life is on you tube you maybe unlicensed as your home is in Victoria. Heavy fines apply plus you are classed as unlic unlicensed. You have 3 months to change your licence and address...trust me i got stung..

Some days you need this. Other days, you do not
My point is you don't need to carry everything every day.you could of bought things like the cast net while you are out and about. Saving you that weight right now. As an example.

Think the blackjack will be a little heavy. I use Ryobi tools so always have a drill / blower on hand to wind the wheels up etc. lifesaver and flat plate instead of a wheel helps
