I have heard so many performances of this song, I am not able to count, and each more beautiful than the next. My playlist probably contains 20 different versions at least. And they all touch me so very deeply. When you hear the performances on his last 2020 concerts you will be even more amazed - it's hard to believe, but he is even better now.
One of my most favourite songs of Dimash too! I don't understand a word, but his musicality is extraordinary and the way he sings, or better said, the way he tells a story touches me deeply every time! I think the same like you, it's like he is painting with his voice! I saw him for the first time on CZcams a few years ago, while searching for my most favourite female singer Lara Fabian... She too is a story telling singer. I hope they will sing more together!!

The whole song is a soul cry. Beyond any doubt the most wonderful heartfelt performance. It's quite literally a masterpiece. I cry every time. His voice is warm, gentle and yet painful and sobbing. Just beautiful!

Learned in a week ! Never spoken Chinese before. Very sad and popular song in China. Famous singer in China during 30’s and 40’s loved by public. Came out after end of WW2 that she was Japanese.She was deported and never allowed back. This was written about her . He is just so stupidly amazing!!!!!!! Just gets better as he gains more experience around the world. Igor Krutoy ( famous Russian composer and pianist)has taken him under his wing. He writes songs for Dimash and you can see him playing piano on a few of Dimash’s recent concerts

It is the first time he sang in Chinese. He said that he had listened to more than a hundred songs and then choose this one. He managed to learn the pronunciation in 5 days. It is so emotional! I love it. I am taking singing classes and I am preparing myself to sing it!

I'm v.sad (weeping, tearing my hair out, gnashing my teeth, hitting my head against the wall, etc.) that you didn't watch the Gloria Wu version of the song, since it explains the true story behind the song. I really hope that you watch the Gloria Wu versions of Daybreak (also a true story), but ESPECIALLY Daididau. The title of that song is the name of a woman--her husband wrote a poem about her when he was in prison. Dimash said it was his goal to sing that song to his audience because it is such a well-known Kazakh song/story, and it was his goal to share the culture of his country. If I didn't know the backstory of that particular song, I'd think it was lovely but would be missing out on so much of the meaning behind the words.
But I guess I'll still be a Barry Being for now anyway....

I have watched the story since on her channel. Unfortunately I can’t make reactions using her videos for copyright reasons. I have made a reaction to Daybreak (it’s on my channel) I reacted to the song first then watched the back story off camera. The story is heartbreaking and Dimash did a truly wonderful job at helping me understand the emotion even without understanding the lyrics.

In Chinese Autumn Strong stands for Late Autumn.
A masterpiece by any standards. Not even any Japanese nor Chinese singer could even dreamed of topping this performance....it's that good. And I've watched the original Japanese version as well as not less than three different versions from three Chinese singers.....all famous singers. Not saying they're not good...just that they are not masterpieces as this one is.

This is one of Dimash’s songs that he has different beautiful versions on it. Every time he sings this in his concerts he draws your emotions out to feel the song. If you haven’t listened to Gloria Wongs’s back story of this dong, please go back and listen to it. So the story is in Dimash when he sings and performs it.

This was the song that led me on a fantastic journey to the world of Dimash, I just accidentally came across the video, it must be a couple of years ago now & I have never been the same since. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't listen to at least 2 of his songs & have downloaded all his songs on Spotify, I can't find the words to describe the joy he brings me & I am so proud to call myself a Dear. AMAZING! Especially since the night before he had lost his voice and had to have shots in his throat to be able to sing...the other contestants were really routing for him cause they knew. Also, Fun fact: in this song he's only wearing a suit jacket and scarf--no shirt. You only see a glimpse when he bows at the beginning. One of the other groups' managers (the female) mentioned it when he first came out. At first I thought she was shocked because he had a hat on (and was very culturally Chinese), but then when I watched it again, I finally noticed what she actually said when she looked a little eyes-widened. 'Go Dimash!' :D
