Dear Barry ☘️ Dimash looks gorgeous in a tuxedo. Know is a luvly song, as far as I’m concerned, Dimash can vocalize the entire song. Loved it when he changed to high notes and when he did the staccatos. Loved seeing Igor too, the way he looks on at Dimash always makes me smile.
Oh, I didn’t mind the wonderful skating but there was a part when Dimash was getting dramatic and the camera moved to the skaters. Thank you for this wonderful review, have a happy weekend Barry 🤗

The Kiev concert vocalize of Know is something else, hypnotic, magical. I have it on a loop for meditation. If you wish to watch different versions go to LiLaSi, she has all of them in a beautiful compilation.

In this beautiful setting, Dimash performs "Ulisse" a duet with Aida Garifullina and a trio "Ti Amo Cosi" with Lara Fabian and Aida. Both are worth watching. I especially love the way Aida and Dimash's voices blend, it is gorgeous. Thanks Barry!

This whole show was awesome! Dimash did Olympico, Ulissé, Ti Amo Cosi, Passione and Know.
It was amazing.
Passione and Know at this concert are my favourite versions of those two songs. I have a different favourite of the no words version of Know (Ascolta la voce) of course. And I will always hold a special place in my heart for the first version (technically the second as it was from the second night of his Moscow concert) which was a blend between know and ascolta la voce as it had only one verse of lyrics and then lots of riffs and runs but very different to the ones used in this performance although it's all round the same melody ofc.
But for Passione and for the "Know" with words; my favourite performances are definitely from the ice skating concert.
It's also not super common we get to hear lots of different riffs and runs from him in one song and if there are lots in one song then they are usually around a theme, like Unforgettable Day singer version there were lots of runs but most were triple note ones at the end or in the middle of phrases. Or in Crown (Chinese Version) there is a repeating riff in the melody and then a big massive one towards the end on certain versions. But yeah there's frequently beautiful riffs and runs but a lot of the time he uses them purely as ornamentation rather than to make up half the song ofc! Which is kind of brave to be honest. With how many songs he had to sing that night and being in a cold arena he could've easily chickened out of going so big on the latter half of Know but did he? HELL NO he didn't! Haha
I'm so glad they choreographed it with a lead male skater that good for this song too. On some of the other songs like Ti Amo Cosi I think the skating choreography got too busy and confusing whereas this one and also the choreography for Passione were beautiful and really fitting.

I think there were so many skaters on the ice because Ti Amo Cosi was the finale of the whole concert; I agree it did get a bit busy, though!
@@BelleNewman oh yeah totally but you can still choreo something no so overwhelming even with all the skaters on the ice ha. It felt more like everybody do your favourite routine individually ha.

This was the performance of «Know» that took me from liking the song, to loving it - especially as (because?😉) the earlier-released fancam concentrated on our beautiful boy throughout!🤗 As others have mentioned, this entire celebratory concert at the VTB Arena "Ice Palace" in Moscow, was just *stellar* - like the guest list! - but it was Dimash who was given the honour of both opening (with «Olimpico») *and* closing («Ti Amo Cosí» with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian) the show, with three other amazing performances besides:- my favourite Dimash duet «Ulisse» with Aida Garifullina - «Know» as you've just experienced/reviewed - and «Passione», accompanied by *the* most incredible interpretive ice-dance - all of which are well worth reacting to, but especially the much-neglected «Ulisse» - pleeeease? Pretty please with a cherry on the top? Pretty please, with a cherry on the top, whipped cream and sprinkles? Every time he performs “Know” (sometimes called “Ascolta la voce”) it’s different, and thus there are several worthy versions, a must-see one is the vocalize version with (almost) no lyrics. There’s even an artsy official music video.
