Hello brother, please include the sentences you speak... Because we can't relate to this English very fast but still want to watch your videos and want to gain knowledge. I am not perfect in English, means that I can understand by reading but can't understand when your are in flow during speaking.
Your little efforts can change my life style and expand knowledge.
Please provide us in written what you are saying during the video.

2. Try out new experiences and opportunities
3. Don't let labels restrict you
Love the message that creativity is all about combining from diverse sources. Awesome video!
God bless you.
This video was awesome - now committed to reading neuromancer. The effort you put into the script shows
Study the people that you admire. So I am gonna watch all videos that I can find of Bhuvan Bam, Russell Peter , Fittuber , Mark Rober and of you Captain ❤️❤️❤️.
Neuromancer is a fantastic book. One of my favorite cyberpunk books.
Thanks so much my friend! I think you'll really enjoy Neuromancer, as long as you can put some time into figuring out the many, many made-up terms 😅
Problem is it's getting harder to find people to admire.
Seems like everyday great historical figures' histories are being rewritten and doucheified by pessimistic "moral" activists; sanctifying their own existence by digging up unsubstantiated allegations of these figures, then vilifying them beyond public redemption.
@@maxi-me there's certainly some truth in what you say, though it's also true that things like hero worship and the "great men" theory of history tend to hide or ignore many character flaws. Putting that aside, though, it's possible to admire someone while also acknowledging their flaws. Steve Jobs was abusive, but he was also a genius. We can learn from both of those things - how to live, and how not to live.
i'm like 99% sure that this video is going to change my life (or rather, inspire new ideas on how i can change my own life)
Omg studyquill hi!! I love your channel!
One really thorough study amazingly framed into a video. That's for sure!
there can never be a video that 'changes your life'. Change is not something that can be caused by external motivation or inspiration. It's internal and does not even need motivation. The only one that can change your life is the person you're seeing in the mirror. It's nothing but a clear decision, precisely spoken: It's nothing more than daily decisions, hence discipline and routine.
@@zjaeger1800 The internal reaction to the experience of an external thing such as a video, book, conversation, etc can irrevocably change us.
"The creative adult is the child who survived." ...
Sounds familiar. From who is that quote?
Love that
OOooOO, love it. I want it on a t-shirt plz!
Amen to that
Curiosity in an adult is a wonderful thing. It’s a nurture, a practice. If there’s one thing that should never change as you get older, boom. Never let it die.
The struggle of a creator is unfathomable. You need to fight:
-Your demons
-Resistance
-Creator's block
-Banality and cliches
-Repetition
-The "genius" and impatience of the crowd
-The viciousness of the critics
-Your success
But it's worth every second of it.
Go all the way.
Why fight success?

One of my favorite things to do weekly is the “artist date” where I take my inner artist on a solo date to explore or experience something new, completely out of my usual daily activities and concerns ... purely for delight and without any ‘reason’ ... inspired by Julia Cameron. I can confidently say this activity pays great dividends... and not just in my stock trading domain✨
Beautiful message, beautifully crafted episode! ✨👏🏻😍
That sounds like a really good idea actually. Could you give me an example of one of these "artist dates" you did?
That is a WONDERFUL idea
Best opening line - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe:
"The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
Thank you very much Douglas Adams
That is indeed the one other contender. Thanks for reminding me of that beautiful line 😄

@@Thomasfrank Couldn't help myself haha! Great stuff again Thomas, excellent content!
The quality of his videos are sooo improved in the last year.
*“Take responsibility of your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands.”*
Thank you
Can I ask? I'm experiencing so much stress for these past few months.. the usual things that makes me happy, even my favorite food, can't make me happy.. I don't know what will make me happy
Creativity needs some free mental space - if you have a cluttered mind, creativity will be difficult to achieve
And if your basic needs are not fulfilled first, you can never have enough free mental space.
Struggle of my life
It also extends to physical space. The more messy your table, the more creative you become.
What the hell is editing on this one. This should be on netflix
I thought the exact same thing: this video is more focused/concise and is better edited than D'Avella's "Less is Now."
Really great video and message.... 👍👍👍
Agreed
"...they didn't really do it. They just saw something" LOVE THAT
Always love your stuff. Thanks 🙏
You too❤️
Hey Chuck plz make more vids on hacking stuff with rasberry py.
Wow seeing network chuck here. Love you man
Glad you enjoyed this!
My favorite quote about exploration from my favorite phd was: "In order to discover your 'self,' do the things you haven't done; and don't do the things you have done today." This was all about going out of the comfort zone but seemed so simple that I've turned it into my motto easily.
Honestly I always felt I am not creative because I just combine things I experience... Little did I know, that's the definition of creativity.
“Curiosity about life in all of its aspects, I think, is still the secret of great creative people” - Leo Burnett
2020-2021 was THE WORST for new experiences! No wonder it’s so hard to be inspired: we’ve been stuck at home, surrounded by awful news every day. You’re basically left to your own motivation, and here’s where videos like this are invaluable. Thank you.
Can't believe you put out high quality videos like this weekly! Incredible job.
Still trying to get back to weekly, but thank you!
I just started reading again and my creativity has been off the charts in the last couple of weeks! So it really helps! Also, starting a CZcams channel and having that as a creative outlet (instead of focusing 150% on my corporate job) has made me a lot happier overall. Thanks for the content Thomas Frank, keep making people creative!
Ditto and bravo 👏🏻👏🏻🥳
I'm just sitting here confused as heck haha

When you start doing it for the reasons other than what you started it for
That first line from the book definitely gave me chills! There is also something different about the production and flow of this video, it makes me feel like I'm hanging on the thinnest thread connecting the past and present and if I look down, there is a never ending abyss gaping at me. You've outdone yourself with this one Thomas!
You definitely are the godfather of the productivity creators. This vídeo resonates so much with me 🙏 big hug from Portugal 🇵🇹
Beautifully expressed 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’m so glad I saw this video in my home page and clicked on it, it helped me realize that I have been losing my desire for exploration and as a consequence my curiosity, I’ll make sure to get back to exploring; great video, great topic, thank you !
The timing of this...... Jezuzzzzzzz.... Thank you!
I have been watching your videos for 5 years and this is one of my favourite. Amazing work, really enjoyed it!
This my favorite video of yours so far. The cinematography, the message, the breakdown, the pacing. It's beautiful.
Really insightful analogy - the paper dots.
This was so timely right, thank you Thomas! 🙏😊
This content is so much better than binging Netflix 🔥🔥🔥
Wow man, I've been watching your videos for about 3 years now and I'm just noticing how good you've become at filming and cinematography. The shots are beautiful, the transitions are creative, the pacing is cool, the colours are fresh. Apart from the awesome life advice and strategies that I've just come to expect, seriously good job on making the whole experience more creative and enjoyable.

Been watching you since college a couple years ago. Your production value has gone up so much. Great job !!!
This video showed me my way. I was lost and too comfortable with my current life. I was feeling uninspired. I don't know why this video has so low views. Thanks CZcams recommendations for this recommendation. Saved my life.
Wonderful timing as always as I've been feeling stuck and uninspired. Great idea to explore new things to help inspire you.
This is the best video I have watched in this phase of my life. Exactly what was going on. And what’s unfortunate about it is you go back to the same thing you were sticking in hopes of finding… hope. All I had to do was type “I don’t feel inspired” and it led me to this video. Thank you.
Every year you are getting better and better with your videos. I've been following you since 2016! You are really inspiring and always leave me in a better mood. Much love to you my friend, you are one of a kind.
EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Thank you Thomas!! SO excited to watch the Skillshare course now!
I was refreshing my subscriptions hoping to see a video from you. The video, storytelling, images, colograding, message was absolutely insane! Thank you!
You live your message - proof is in how your videos are constantly improving
I appreciate how much work you put into this video. Thank you. It’s definitely something I needed to hear right now.
For me it was all about social isolation. I had lost all motivation to work on my thesis, but now that I'm zooming with my advisor every 2 weeks and held accountable, I have tons of motivation again, even in unrelated areas of life.
Every new video of yours just feels visually more extravagant than the one before!! I can see the amount of time and effort put into this video and it really does make a big impact. Thank you for the content Thomas :)
I love the new editing style you have developed. The cut at 1:42 was amazing sending shivers down my spine. The work on the script is amazing, keep up the great work it's wonderful!
I needed this so badly thank you!
I was questioning this to myself and I searched it on CZcams and I am glad I found this guy. Guys trust me if you keep asking yourself, universe will show you the answer. Energy is real.
I'm a quiet viewer/podcast listener but I wanted to get out of my shell and say this: This is an amazing video, exactly what I needed. Feeling okay to get out of my label and feeling okay to exploring new things that may or may not go somewhere but can be another dot on my journey...this video feels like Thomas patted my head and was like hey it's totally okay to do that! Thank you so much, I really hope we have some podcast episodes on each of these topics!
Happy to have followed you since your beginnings, and i'm still suprised me by every single new video. Thank you !
This video is a masterpiece. I’ve listened to videos giving similar advice, but this one stands out.
This video gave me a whole lot to think about. I'll need to watch it again or perhaps a few times over for it to sink in! Great content Thomas
Thank you Thomas, this was great. I am inspired! Gave me the boost to buy "How big Things get done". I have to say, that i didn't follow your work the last years, but back in the days 2014ish. Thanks for beeing there along the ride.
I've been stuck in a rut lately and I couldn't really put a finger on what it was causing it until watching this. I've been working relentlessly for the past 3 years to getting my degree in mechanics engineering and everything in my life has been focused on that and not much else. This video put a name to the mask less monster that I've been fighting with and now I can see what I need to do to feel more like myself again and expand my world again. Thanks so much! Keep up the great work
I admire you, Thomas! So much improvement to your videos these past few years.
Love this high quality videos! Not only content wise but also from a cinematic standpoint, simply great!
Honestly, such a pleasure to watch, top-notch filmography, thoroughly engaging and not to mention super useful info as well. As an avid watcher of your vids, it's been so inspiring to watch your editing style grow and change over the years. Your advice has always been immensely powerful and has helped me throughout university (many years ago) and is continuing to aid me in my professional career. Just want to say thank you for all the awesome work you do and also to selfishly ask that you keep them coming!
Exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank YOU 🙏
this is not the video i wanted but a video i needed!
thanks thomas....
Love it!! Thank you!!
Man this video shows your knowledge & hard work
LOVED the cyberpunk aesthetic
I'm deeply grateful for this video, I didn't know I needed to hear these words in this moment. Thanks a lot for this kind of content!
As always, the quality is insane. Great video Thomas and keep it up 😊
This should be made into full-length documentary! Excellent work Thomas!
Just when I lost all hope of inspiration, Your video actually helped me to get back on track. Thanks a lot for posting this video.
Mad respect Thomas Frank for raising the bar in every way, but most importantly the earnestness and depth of the script.
This video hit me at exactly the right time. Thank you.
its been a long time that you upload a video in such quality like you used to do back then, this video was awesome into the point, hope you keep with this great quality.
You keep inspiring me from the day i found your channel , I'm really proud of you for the quality of your work . I'm looking forward applying these tips !
Thank you so much for making this video.
Incredible. You’re a real mensch. Thank you.
Really appreciated this video!! I never comment, but just had to say I needed to hear this advice. The effort that consistently goes into this channel is so impressive.
It’s truly majestic, the effort and finesse put into your videos Thomas, apart from the great and well argumented tips. I really admire you for that, you have a loyal follower now.
Keep up the great work, great things will come to you soon.
Bruh the quality of the videos ..... I love it
The production quality of this video was fantastic! I appreciate the effort!!
How do you write these scripts for your videos....i swear there's so much substance to your writing, I love it!
Thank you for this video man.
Love the style of your videos!
Perfect timing, man, thanks a lot! I'm considering delaying my teaching career in order to spend a year in Norway, but I was feeling quite guilty for wanting to put that aside and living, having new experiences. Now I feel more confidence in my decision, thanks to you =)
Dude how are your videos so good though. Like each one is genuinely fantastic.
So relatable! Today I discovered different settings on my camera as I was taking photos of random things and having so much fun!
The video is so well done. THank you!
Thank you this is exactly what I needed to hear
Thanks a lot. You are awesome!
Hi Tom, so earlier today I'm seeing a notification of your video and I decided to let it stay even though I kept on seeing it and felt like it's clattering my drop down but in the middle as I watched I felt grateful that you put your all into this and there's the line where you say, "you never know what is going to contribute to your next piece of creative work".. And for about 2 months inspiration has been funny with me but I've tried to force it and I was jus grateful I let this video stay until I watched it. Super meaningful and helpful..
I'm wrapping up my small experience book, I'm so hyped to get back up to making it as amazing as the idea should become for every one at the end!
Thanks man.

i do realy like your content bro
i apreciate the help that you give us trough the screen
iam very proud of peapoles like you
Wow, this video is so important. Nothing before touched me so much. I feel like thats so simple to get out of a rut - just try new things, things your interested. Do not watch others only (it was obvious, but never fealt so real), do it yourself. This was soo inspiring, and the section about labeling so true. Thank you!
I can tell how much work you put into this video! Great content 👏🏻
This hit spot on, thank you.
You changed my life. I love your work!
Wow this was really powerful. Got me thinking in different ways. Thank you! Appreciate the time you took to put this together
