U can run automotive ac compressor on this and use this to have air conditioning in your truck while the main engine is off. Mount an alternator to charge the battery aswell. Should be way more fuel efficient than idling a 14l diesel just for ac..

What kind of speed control does this engine come with? When you set the throttle, does it try to hold constant RPM like a lawnmower engine?
Kinda. If you bypass the spring on the throttle you get the full RPM!🏁🏁🏁

i got an engine like this but its pull cord is stuck? it makes some ping sound if i pull it too hard. any idea why? did i get scammed lol
Sounds like the recoil may be out of wack. Without hearing it or seeing what’s going on.. it’s hard to say
@@ColdStartGarage i think the engine i got might actually just be seized lol took valve cover off and looks like what the decompression lever is supposed to push against isnt actually touching it at all.makes sense why the lever doesnt wanna stay down hahah
So you can’t spin the engine at all? Did you try turning it by the shaft?
@@ColdStartGarage yeah i tried. ive got a part of a torque converter i tried to put on it but the damn width is too big by the smallest amount lol. such dumb luck man
almost found a nice body for this motor too but the facebook seller decided to completely ignore my offer lol life just doesnt want to work out for me right now

You have to start it on the compression stroke...
