Todays installment of the 12 days of Halloween was not an easy song to work on. Its not that the parts are that complicated, but more in the fact I kept fucking up stupid parts and making small mistakes that eventually led to me taking waaaayyyy to many takes to get done. Normally, I would not care or even think twice about it, but I just kept thinking about the insufferable metal heads that would never let me live it down for not playing the song 100% perfect the way they want......which is stupid because i usually dont give a flying F*** what people think of me or the music I play....but it got in my head, and the only way to get it OUT of my head is to get it done, perfect or not, publish it and move on!
Dont read that as a negative thing tho, its just a walk thru the mindset of a mad scientist artist with mental health complexities....its a window into the brain of someone like me and the weird choices I make artistically.
Bottom line: I love Pantera. I love this Song. Enjoy!
