I just looked at some old folders, i havent fished DV since Nov of 2022 . . . i just had too many bad days and it got more expensive. Even with the Disabled Veterans Discount Pass, you still got to pay the Day Use . . . but damn, some of my best Fish came from DV too hahaha

For sure Bro! That would be cool. 😎 Yes, the algae bloom was bad but it’s slowly clearing up. I’ll be throwing top water in the early mornings, then probably switch it up to A Wacky Rig, Drop Shot, and a Square Bill. Maybe a Keitech swim bait.

Ive been throwing more keitech paddle tails and senko swim baits lately now that im getting more comfortable with Baitcasters. Even if i dont hook up with em, its been cool seeing the fish follow em and seeing where they are coming from, then i can throw something else in that direction and get em like that. Ive had some of my best days and worst days at DV. I just need to stop being cheap and go . . . haha

Hey bud! I was there & filmed this Friday and launched by 730. No line, no one else launching. There was a few bass boats, but all spread out and a few wake boarders all spread out. I heard it can get busy there, but there are little coves you can break off into to get away from that. Personally, the busy-ness on the water doesnt bother me if im locked on a good spot. Its the idiots at the dock that irk me! Lol I also fish Perris & DV a lot as well. Ive actually been at Perris before on a weekend during a Festival & at Capacity and still crushed. ... so its just a tolerance thing for me. However, i mostly fish mon thri fri 2 to 4 days out of the week if i can get out. Either way. Id say go check out San Vicente, i liked it a lot! Cheers 🤘🎸🎣🎵🎶

Honestly....the "Skeptic" in me wants to say 8 but . . . Ive caught 12lb catfish on that rig and a 20+ flathead and it felt very strong and heavy compared to those. Also, ive seen people catch a 9lb & 10lb Bass close to me at Diamond Valley & this ones Head was much bigger than those..... so conservative 8 to 12
