Do you think this is the best option in its price range? What were the other options you considered? I'm looking for a monitor mainly for reading purpose (e-Newspaper to be specific). I was wondering if the eye care features are really helpful. Please give your thoughts.
@@stephenmate2013 My requirement was I needed a monitor with height adjustment for my office work. I wanted to get the Dell P series but it was little over budget. I had the dell S2421H in mind and thought of getting the additional vesa monitor mount. Then I saw some reviews for BenQ GW2480 and later found a T variant which had a height adjustment stand (BenQ GW2480T). I got this and I liked it. I previously had the LG 22MP68VQ that died after 3 years. But I miss the brightness control software which LG provided. I turned off the bright intelligent eye care feature, as I felt it was little brighter than I prefer, hence using manual brightness controls. Coming from a 22 inch monitor, the 24 inch felt large at first, but really useful for office work. The text is not blurry and stand is really great sturdy and the adjustment options are great.

Great review. When turned on there appears to be a bright white light coming from the power button, is it annoying? Surprised they didn't use a softer blue light. If you have checked out the BenQ 2283 how do they compare? Thanks
Very nice review.. sir here's my question Benq provides 3 models in 24 inches and 27 inches LED Monitors. 3 models having almost same features but not the price, hence does this price change in the same size will matter in Colour accuracy and Working experience?

So know i really want to buy Benq GW2480T or GW2480, because i saw this on your detailed review.. ;) This is the substitute of my Asus VA239, becuase my Asus got a problem like flickering and not able to read those text properly, i don't know what happened to my monitor and it last only 2 years :( So i will buy Benq soon.
One question about pivoting to put it vertically... Can it pivot to both left and right sides (180º) or only to one side (90º)? Working with big orchestral scores would be better with 2 monitors vertically (with the ambience light sensors on the exterior sides, like a big opened book)...

it's 2017's model. there many others late 2020's monitor like ASUS VY279HE says eye care+ on this price range or cheaper. Should I buy this old technology while my consideration is EyeCare. I have to use Computer for over 8+ hours a day, and my eyesight become poor day by day. need your suggestion.
I didn't try Asus before to confirm which one is better, in my opinion the newer the better but for me if am not gonna buy BenQ I would look for LG or Samsung as alternatives

I think the pixels are visible is only something happening on camera but in real life. This is not the case for the text sharpness it's fine

It's not bad if you are on budget and IPS panels have good color accuracy, but try to calibrate it to get better results
