    I do appreciate that the missions are time limited, and once you have a handle on the mechanics, you can choose to chill on lower levels, or go for a more intense experience on higher difficulty levels.
    And while there is a certain amount of muscle memory and reaction time you need for peak performance, there is a lot of simple tactical management that makes or breaks missions. You don't have to be the snap shot twitch god to be good.
    A couple of CZcamsrs that are deep into that are Eravin for stealth and CommissarKai for team play with randoms.
    And I really appreciate that they don't time gate the stuff. You don't *have* to be on right this bleeping minute or you're gonna miss everything important like some games do. Very nice when you've got other higher priority commitments...

    One thing I absolutely love about this game is that even victories at low difficulties help progress the overall war.
    No matter what difficulty you're playing, as long as you win, you are helping the galaxy at large!

      All difficulties matter. Will say this those, when I first started, 4 felt like hard mode. Now I could probably do a solo 4 blind folded. At that point 7 felt like hard mode, until I played 9s. Now 9s feel normal. The 9 difficulties is essentially a training model to do 9s consistently. Little changes along the way to slowly crank up the difficulty. Not much difference between 7 & 9 tbh. Couple more heavy devastators or maybe an additional factory strider or two, but plenty of 7s had me fighting 2 or 3 of those big striders at the same time. It's like jail compared to prison. You still in a box. Same thing.

      @@lukemehalick370 I remember my first Dive. It was back when the Automaton Personnel Defense missions were still going on, and I thought "Yeah, I can take care of one of them by myself".
      Got stomped immediately, but it was fun!

    A great thing is that no mission is ever longer than 45min (including forced extraction) as if the 40min timer runs out you then have the 2min auto extraction timer that start and then a few more seconds to get in once it arrives.
    But the VERY BEST thing is major order medals to purchase equipment in warbonds are awarded even if you haven't logged in a while... so upon your return you can get up to 250medals (the cap)... meaning you still progress even when offline

    ngl, this game is very fun. But it's also secretly a major time sink. If You've got a busy job, kids to take care of, and you just want to relax when you sit down to olay a game. Helldivers 2 might not be the game to you. It's very fun, but it's also janky and it regularly pulls bullshit that quickly becomes frustrating.

    I think the only difficulty is collecting samples. I usually only have time to play weekend nights so collecting enough to unlock everything is going to take a very long time.

    • @DadsXP
      @DadsXP  Před 18 dny

      The samples can be tough for sure without a dedicated group. But if you stick to it before long you'll have tons of them and once you know what to look for even the purple ones can be relatively easy to find. - C.J.

    If the difficulties are discouraging, know this... we all died over and over as well. Remember, we win or we learn. Learning is just as valuable. 9 difficulties is essentially a training module. Small changes to slowly crank up the challenge. First week playing, 4 was like crazy time. Now, 9s are normal. Play and get as good as time permits & spread democracy there

    this game kinda went downhill after sony forced them to use psn in order to get in. Psn has been hacked multiple times in the past and users had their information stolen. I know its sonys fault and not the creators of the game's fault but I still don't trust that it wont happen again in the future.

      This ain’t an thing anymore bud - the game didn’t go downhill bc nothing from the game actually got changed just this mandatory thing that ultimately got reverted
