My question, is it important if a plasterer is qualified or not? I did my apprenticeship and went to college to get my paperwork, CSCS card and nvqs. Time served as they say. Some of the guys I’ve worked with in the past have not been qualified but just self taught from labourers.
Hi guys, I learnt a lot from watching the live stream, just wondered the best system for putting on a big ceiling or a big high walls on your own, working of hop ups not scaffolding or stilts. Also how much to much to mix up and whether to use the same mix for 2 coats or to use 2 separate mixes, also your thoughts on the effectiveness of, the extra time additive. I ve been getting a lot of big ceiling lately and struggling from start. Cheers.

When re-skimming a room on top of old plaster, is it ok to bead over edges that have presumably been beaded many years previously? Or should I just use a straight edge and try and create my own angles? Cheers

do you use the angle trowel flat to the wall or do you run it down the corner angle letting the tip of the trowel do the work for the best results ?
