I have nothing but respect for Baron Davis. His time was more than a decade ago and he was still able to be a productive player into the 2010s
***** Damn Ipad lol
2014-2006=8
decade=10
LongJohn Silverthorne His best ppg and steals season was 2004
,
Baron Davis is god
Him and Steve Francis were the first of these new generation of dunking point guards
What about Isiah Thomas (the original)? What about Kevin Johnson? Iverson? Marbury? Francis and Davis were explosive, but both 6'3" and taller than everyone I named. If you looked at shooting guards under 6'4" the list of explosive dunkers would be even longer (Byron Scott for one). The NBA's been around for almost 70 years - do some homework.
FAYMprod I agree but dont forget little Spud Webb.
FAYMprod
Don't forget about Robert Pack.
FAYMprod do you feel nice for pointing out all those names? Lmao
Eu Phoric Jourdan54 both great calls!
Truly a great and gifted pg who was robbed of some good years because of injuries. Really can't compare his game to anyone but without a doubt is one of the reasons why we have so many explosive pgs in the league today.
Exactly wat I said
***** *Davis' (just meaning it good, tryind to increase your knowledge :) )
0-11.... Haha sorry I had to. I'm a laker fan though so I know it's rough. I say you guys beat the suns today. No doubt. Hopefully things pick up for the both of us.
+Brennan Dipippo i always thought he was like an extremely athletic Isiah Thomas
I think i can compare him to jamal murray?
Damn that dunk over Kirilenko still get me hype up. That Playoffs run even though the Warriors were eliminated by Jazz on the semifinals, is still one of my favorite playoff memories. The warriors upsetting 1 seed Dallas was just epic.
Yeah. There probably weren't a handful of players that ever dunked on AK47
facts
That old Charlotte court is amazing.
That play over Garnett was so explosive 😮
Another great player that had his career cut short due to injuries, baron truly would have been something special if he was healthy and not injured.
I love you profile pic
Magenta Tie thanks haha
Ya know what I ming (:
Magenta Tie saw it when I was looking at a list of memes
Goes perfect with your name
Baron was one of the greats in the early to mid 2000's. I remember watching him in a high school all-star game with Shea Cotton, when I was a young teen. He throw it off the backboard and dunk in the crowd!! I've been a fan every since and I appreciate the vid. Respect to the no. 2 and no. 3 victims of this tribute: Stevie Franchise and J.O.(Jermaine O'Neal). Two of the many forgotten stars of the 2000's era.
The dunk on Garnett is my personal #1. Sixteen year old me was hyped af🔥
Man, I remember when Baom Davis dunked on AK47, I watched that game live. Oh, the nostalgia! To me, those basketball days were way better than today's modern basketball.
Agreed.
The uniforms those days were sweeter too! Utah, Golden State, Minnesota, Cleveland, Phoenix, Washington, Denver, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Orlando all had sweet unis. I know it's irrelevant but those bring back so much nostalgia for me.
I didn't even watch the whole video yet and I know what #1 is gonna be.
Yeah right! The trampoline dunk!
#4 is so smooth.. Catch in rhythm, patience w/ the pump fake, then ridiculous in n out hesitation dribble to stun Reggie 🔥🔥🔥 1:20
That dunk on KG was INSANE!!
He explodes and moves sorta like Rose.
Do you mean rose explodes like BD
@@Michigame269 exactly my first thought. Thought I was the only one 6 years late
I love D Rose but you have this ass backwards 😂
Baron Davis and Steve Francis are two of the best PG dunkers in the NBA
*Were two of the best. They are no longer in the NBA so you cant say "are two of the best that are in the NBA"
RUSSELL. WESTBROOK. DERRICK. ROSE.
The Rock Derrick Rose can't dunk without spraining his ankle.
Russell Westbrook is definitely in that class....dude is probably more athletic than both of them!
***** dude look up westbrooks top dunks, he slams that shit harder than most of the big guys in the league
Francis and Davis were probably two of the most athletic Point Guards I've ever seen
Amazing athlete in his prime!! A shame the way his career ended with that harsh injury.
His career also started with a harsh injury. (torn ACL at 18)
Cdcdc.j.6n8
im still hurt tbh
It’s guys like this that makes the game so fun to watch
Number 4 actually made me go "OH SHIT" out loud. Baron is a man. Great player in his prime. Never got enough love and then boom.. injury after injury after injury
Baron was better than all the top pgs in the league nowadays
nahhhhhhhhhhhhh
He can't even shoot 41% in his career. I do like his game.
Your crazy
BushMaster Savimbi I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings.
Na bruh i like his game but CP3 is better, so is Stephen Curry, and maybe Kyrie Irving ( at least in my opinion)
Anyone else here to watch his career plays when he's coming back in 2015?
nickbball9 yeahh lol
Lol! Me 2!
hell yea lets go baron!!!
''that's on your FAMILY!''
That side dunk was his signature dunk
I have the utmost respect for Baron Davis he was so silky smooth and fun to watch.
Baron's crossover was definitely top 10 all time
Super underrated.
I remember how amazed I was back in the day that a point guard could throw down such physical dunks as Baron Davis.
As exciting of a top 10 that you'll ever see. Such a fun player to watch!
Will never forget that playoff run with the Warriors...never seen anything like it the crowd the atmosphere was unreal.
I still get the chills from that 4th place magic. It's absolutely incredible! I'm proud to be a member of the same Boss Cat Rocket Club as him!
So so sick !!! One of the best Top tens ever !!!
In the era of MJ and co someone once told me on a streetball court that i reminded him of Baron Davis... that was the best compliment i ever received in my whole life lol... What a legend!
Wow, that dunk on KG was nuts. Dude jumped SO FAST. In slow motion he looked like he was moving regular speed.
Damn those were one of the sickest and vicious dunks i have ever seen by a Guard or any position !
He was a beast. I use to be a big Baron Davis fan man
this is a perfect video!
Had the whole package. True PG
One of my All-Time favorite players! From a freshman at UCLA to when he retired! *salute* #BDIDDY
DAMN ! some of those dunks was just filthy !
BD's aggressiveness and confidence is impeccable
Oh wow this is one of the best top 10 videos with the best dunk compilations I’ve ever seen
This top 10 is crazy!!
Amazing!
Best highlight video of all time.
Incredible
"Oh, Baron! Sends it down, on Kirilenko's head!"
Great vid.
one of my favorite player of all time.
One of the all-time great underachievers. If not for bad knees & mickey-d's, he'd be in the HOF.
KramarkEclipse agreed
Baron Davis is simply unbelievable!!
Very good player I remember watching him play on one leg against the miami heat in the playoffs when Wade was a rookie. He killing the Heat with one leg that got me into basketball
one of my all time favs
One of the sweetest jump shots
Severely underrated point guard
A great underrated pg in the nba one time all star . Great player. Never really hated him. I m 18 i used to watch him when he was in warriors and clippers. His fun to watch.
Insane
Number 4.Simply amazing
incredible Baron
Growing up when i first starting watching basketball baron was my favorite
That Kirilenko dunk is such an obvious offensive foul with an off arm.
one of the best top 10s I ever seen
I had no idea he could jump so high. Get em Baron!
The breaded one!! He was a beast!!
If I had to choose two words to describe Baron's game, those words would silky smooth, because his game was that nice.
Baron is probably my favourite player of all time
One of my favorite PG
Amazing player. Beastt
sick top 10 though!!!!!
You got them God gifts much love -Wayno
Still one of my favorite players of all time! Every fan knew what the #1 play would be even before the video even started!
Baron davis is definitly top 10 underrated point guards
Beast
One of the most explosive PGs ever. He attacked the hoop with the intensity only matched by Derrick Rose. Also during those mid 90s, Davis was often mentioned a few times as an MVP candidate even while playing on mediocre teams.
Mid 90s? Keep smoking that ganja Ryen. BD wasn't in the league.
Lmao the 90s?
Best one so far
Lol @ 2:11 that announcer is bout that life "And it was savage !"
Wish he would've made a comeback. Loved watching him on the Warriors.
That 360 layup was so saucy my gawddddddd
Baron Davis was unbelievably amazing at basketball!
Came here cuz hes signing a D-League contract
Same
i was like who the fuck is this guy? a 36 yrs old who just signed a contract
+Mark Capundag you are 5 years old?
that davis and wesley combo in charlotte was serious
Favorite basketball player of all time!
Baron was a beast even at UCLA
One of my favorite pgs
beast
So damned nostalgic right now... Miss BD.
Great player
one of my fav PGs
Nasty
What a beast...
Baron Davis. Baron Davis. Marvelous. Love to be with you in #BCRC family
Baron davis was a beast in his times if it wasnt for injuries he would been one of the all time greats
Baron Davis. Steve Francis. Derrick Rose. Russell Westbrook. John Wall.
All amazing dunkers but I'd put Stevie Franchise #1. That guy was insane.
I agree. I recall Francis had a vertical leap of 42 inches in the 00 dunk contest. The guy could fly, but got overshadowed by Carter in that dunk contest.
Shaquille O'Neal Rose is trash
LOL you guys forgot for mentioning Spudd Webb #oldschool
Ew it's mitt mittens he smells like 💩
Derrick Rose ew it's Derrick Rose. the bitch that runs his mouth all the time and gets hurt
This guy could ball!
My fav PG of all time!! Had handles for days, a 3pt shot, defense and hops!! B.D, B-Diddy, B-Deezy & Too Easy at Rucker park. Too bad his back didn't let him finish his career. Whatever... Forever a Baron Davis fan.
Holy crap, Number 5 was probably the longest shot that went in, in NBA history.
It was in the NBA that counted. The ABA had a 92 footer shot by Jerry Harkness in 1972, and In 2015, Jae Crowder accidentally made a 95 footer, albeit out of bounds
Bout time they gave this man some respect. He deserves it.
what an exciting player
SAVAGE!
He was one of the best point guards at one point
One of my favorite PGs ever
Damn it, Those were the new breeds of the 2000's. The Dunking Point Guards, that posterizes every good defender 😁
