I love the weathered copper look. It looks so alien to anything we use now.
thx!
This is super-original.
Love it.
I'd use that in any sci-fi movie I'd be starring.
*has a slight DUNEesque vibe that one might find or expect from one of the lesser known Houses of the Landsraad...awesome*
*a little smoke coming out of the barrel and the end glowing slightly red would be nice to see at some point but otherwise this design is very beautiful and unique*
DUNE I'll take that ! and yeah there is actually smoke in there
While watching the design grew on me, it's kinda like someone turned excalibur into a gun, has some star wars "long time ago" vibes. Great job!
I like that
It’s almost Kryptonian in design! Well done.
Well, Reginald, this is a most amazing self-design. I love its originality.
It reminds me of the landing bay on the Galactica.
I very much enjoy the font you chose. Definitely alienesque.
And, fantastic choice of triangular energy bolts. That, too, is pretty unique.
It did look pretty good as chrome. And I love that you heat-distressed the end of the barrel.
Nice 'found alien weapons.
I did enjoy your basic suggestive 'tutorial' type of explanation.
I don't have any experience with that kind of software, nor do I have any form of 3D printer.
But I did enjoy your complete episode. Thank you for that.
And, yes, the colors do show up on camera in good lighting quite well. 😎👍
Than you, again.
Be Excellent, you very talented sir. And Party on. 🤘🎸😎🥳🌈🐴
thx ! And nope not Reginald :)
@@createscifi 😁
Okay, Robert. 😆
🤘😎👍
The builds are great. Firing them up is the best.
Whoa-ho-ho wow-how-how indeed! The flat top design took me back to the late eighties when my cousins and I would always ask if we could glue handles and tubes for scopes onto remote controls. Of course we were told no.
haha
That was an amazing build! The burnished paint job actually sells this as a blaster rather than the pristine chrome!!
I agree!
Pieces that don't line up and paint that brings out the defects, I know those all too well, definitely a nuisance to deal with. Really liked the heat bloom effects on the chrome, very realistic. Thanks for a great tutorial. Take care.
I don't even build stuff, but just enjoy watching you do so. Yet I found your thought process and hints on the 3D design/modeling part really useful.
Been trying to learn 3D on and off for a couple of years and I find these more 'broad' explanations as useful as tutorials that are more about the fine details. Thanks.
Really cool design! Very original I haven’t seen something like that before. Thank you for showing your process!
Great build, 👍, definately a prop that could build a film
thx
This came out great, it gives me Stargate vibes, I read a comment that says Dune and I can totally see that too. Either way, it's fantastic.
yeah that is cool Dune or Stargate all that is awesome ;0
Enjoyed the entire build. Roberto.
Awesome build, Amazing channel and you have a truly creative mind.
Have you ever done the super glue and baking soda trick to fill gaps and seal immediately?
Love your videos and attitude!
Killer blaster!
yup quite a few of my videos have super glue and baking soda trick
@@createscifi the very next video I watched had it. Hope the logarithm likes that I watch a few complete episodes at a time. I love your attitude and positivity! Come on 100,000 subscribers!
Paintjob is beautiful
Great job man! Love the design!
I personally would love to see your take on a small droid. Like how would you dollar store together a robot like the toaster bot or the interogation droid from Star Wars.
Don't always like your color choices but I love learning from you.
fair enough I aprechiate the feedfback, thx !
Very cool build. If you just use the top of the gun without the handle that would make a really cool looking spaceship keep up the great work I love watching your videos stay safe.
hahah for sure
Beautiful nice work.
This is awesome!!! Very helpful indeed.
great to hear !
I notice you really seem to like the Star Wars rusty dieselpunk aesthetic, and just wondering if you ever do retro-futurist art deco stuff. You know, shiny chrome surfaces, blinky lights, lots of smooth curves, antennas, decorative fins, that kind of look.
I do like that but not a strength of mine, but someday :0
A new style of blaster from the mind of A R F , totally from scratch, excellent.Thought you'd blown the finish at that critical demasking moment, I should have known better. One more terrific video to add to the compendium. Thanks man. Middle name has to be Rubin or Rumplestiltskin, how cool would that be !!!
haha Rubin would be cool
There’s a touch of rom the space knight from the 70s comic fascinating build I’m thinking bigger printer and a matching rifle would be very cool
An excellent job Sir. As original a blaster as you could possibly get. Love your honesty in your builds, no ego, just a passion for creating.
Very nice build.
looks great and the painting is also very good 👍
thx
can you do a costume halo helmet build id love to see that, like that would be amazing. love the content keep of the good work.
I do love helmets
Very cute.
that's a good-looking blaster! depending on how well-tuned your machine is you generally want a half millimeter extra tolerance built in for a press fit. this design wouldn't really be suitable but when i'm building a model to print i try to hide part seams in corners and panel lines to reduce the amount of sanding time.
yeah for sure will try .5 mm next time
Totally reminds me of Dune.
Does remind of Jango's westar blasters in AOTC 😉
cool
Rosebud!
My friend and teacher you can unlock the scale if you take that shape and add it to your creations folder. you then can unlock and resize it to fit your needs.
also get yourself a gold acrylic pen.. They work wonderfully.
Hey, if you make another, why not incorporate the angles into the meet up joints? Like instead of straight cuts, why not use 45 degree cuts? It would also increase the amount of contact area. A V cut might be cool to try in a future design too.... Wait, I'm saying what you should do or try when I should be doing it. I don't have a 3D printer but you make it look like it would be fun to own one. See what you did? You made me get my Creative mind kick in. Thanks man, you are the best!
sounds good
Can you please make this a file I can download and print myself??
nice, not your usual story but it looks kinda like some progressive dwarven smith repurposed a broken hero sword
like that
Looks like something from stargate
ya kinda right
anyone else notice the font was the unkown pokemon?
Middle name Raphael?
You are so close ! LOL The American English version of that name ....
its a great looking blaster but I cant get into printed "art" and what you do is art.. Yes I understand it came form your head and into the machine but printers should print parts, again just my opinion
noted :)
cool love xou share your mistakes. came out pretty sexy.
You know theres no reason you couldn't display your props once you're done filming them. Some people collect film props.
feel ya :)
