ASMR Nature Walk with Friends!

- Join my lil’ buddies and I on a relaxing, soft-spoken walk through the woods of Southeastern Pennsylvania at Winter's end and Spring's beginning. We'll hear some wildlife like crows and frogs, see and hear the flowing water of the creek, climb about the rocks, ramble along the trails, and just enjoy our sweet ol’ time out in nature!

Hey my friend! Always love your nature walks….was one of the first videos of yours that got me hooked! I love the ricketts glen hoodie! You mentioned about mountain lions, yeah I guess we used to have them and some say we still have a few….the game commission denies it but folks say they’ve seen em. Me personally I’ve never seen one in the wild and highly doubt there’s any left. Thanks for the hike buddy, loved it!

Nothing like a relaxing trek through the beauty of the natural world to soothe your mind and give the body some exercise
As a fellow Southeastern Pennsylvanian, it's so crazy to see you walk down one of the same beautiful trails that I walked down. I'll never know for sure if I've ever walked down the same exact trail you've been down, but it's nice to be watching a good creator who's metaphorically right up the road.

i wish i knew how to survive outdoors LOL i'd be dead in a week. i mean i'd love to setup a lean-to shelter, but it's mostly state parks where i live and i dunno if i could do something like that.. anyway good idea i might look into it further one day

Chipmunks are delightful creatures. The first time I experienced their playful behavior was just outside my cabin door at a State Park in the Ozark mountains of northwest Arkansas.
They were scampering just a few feet away totally unconcerned by my presence. Far cuter than any Disney movie or cartoon version these chipmunks seemed deeply involved in a game of catch me if you can. It was 30+ years later in New Hampshire before my next encounter. A gang of delinquent Yankee chipmunks chewed up the wiring in the HVAC compressor of the house we bought. With that little hiccup behind us, we evolved from bird feeding to full on chipmunk spoiling with a daily buffet of seeds, nuts, berries, fruit, mushrooms, and mealworms. More than once I saw chipmunks with their cheeks so packed they wouldn’t fit in their burrow entrance. Watching them problem solve by disgorging everything and repacking it was hilarious. About half the time this worked and the other half they’d hide some of the excess and return for it as soon as they resurfaced. Our Miniature Pinchers learned chipmunks have racing stripes for a reason so reluctantly a truce went into effect. They are highly social animals eventually growing into eating from my palm.

Here is a great CZcams mushroom foraging guru, Adam Haritan.
I’ve learned so much from him and also have leaned tons from the foraging, mushrooms, and mycology subreddits and a few others related to them.
Check out Adam, he’s a mycologist and gives such good and thorough information. He also covers trees and other wild food as well. He goes pretty fast and uses the scientific and common names, so I’ve watched some a few times. I think you’ll be hooked.
I found it amazing how many both edible and pretty deadly mushrooms exist just in our own yard, but have a hundred acre woodland here to cover during the year, so my hikes have become missions to search for all kinds of wild foods if even just to photograph them.
