- Assurance sent this phone to replace the Unimax Um693 due to the transition to T-Mobile network. Even though it's the cheapest smartphone T-Mobile sells, It's a very nice upgrade from the Unimax. I had never heard of this phone before opening the box, so here are the specs:

I was lucky enough in August to get a Moto G Power from this one free phone booth back in August. I went to a different booth this January for my dad (I thought they were giving out the same phones), but I was wrong.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive this to replace that awful sprint phone. Just to add, it is slippery, if I'm going to carry this around I'll definitely get a case for some grip

I finally got my New Cell Phone, by: Assurance Wireless, last Monday. Is a dream come True, for the Holidays.
I got a pure from both Assurance and SafeLink. Have two know and have no complaints yet.

@@farhanachowdhury5042 hint: if you apply for one then use it for awhile, you can apply for another through another company and get approved, it'll auto cancel service on the first phone you had. However you may own two phones by doing such.

I just received my first assurance wireless phone. It's a an Orbic Q10. Never heard of this kind before so don't know what to expect. Wish there was a few reviews and a beginners video. The little instructions they sent with it just went over activation and the very basics

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and I am really happy with it. It's definitely a step up for me because it's running on Android 12. The first phone I got from AW was junk. I do hope that they will start providing better quality phones for free to their customers. I had to buy this one. I really love the Moto g pure ❤😊

@@josereyesmotivationalspeak8104 I have experienced junky spyware laden Androids that acted like they were possessed but at least Motorola would not be horrible to that degree so even if it is spyware it would have to a standard of the Lenovo brands instead of unbranded trash that is e-waste on day one.

I must say that I'm very happy with The moto g pure. It is definitely a step up from The Moxee which is a crappy phone. I just wish that it had more ram 😊
Does anyone know how to enable widgets and Wi-Fi calling? My mamaw got her phone and can’t get any of these to work and she needs Wi-Fi calling since she doesn’t have service at home.

As an existing Assurance Wireless customer, how did you get this phone? Are they just sending them out to all current customers or do you have to request it by phone or online in some way?
Late last year, they were sending postcards and emails to their users to tell them to get a new phone that is compatible with the new T-Mobile network. On my account page, there was a link to order a new device for free, although they didn't say which one. It took over a month to arrive.
You are not guaranteed to get a moto phone they ship whatever they have in the warehouse you could get a good phone or you could get a shitty phone depending on what’s in the warehouse

Hey I have assurance wireless to and did you get that to replace your other phone from assurance wireless or did you get that for free or did you have to pay $40 plus for a replacement phone from assurance wireless if you can answer my question back I would really appreciate it?
Assurance sent it for free to replace the Unimax due to them now using T-Mobile. On my account page, there was a button to press to order a new phone. They did not say which one I would get.

Whatever you do dont believe those Assurance agents out in the streets with their tables asking ppl to upgrade their phone!!! We got scammed by them they sold us a Moto phone for $125 sayin that the we”ll have a new line/acct etc. After two mnths the line was cut bc the # they gave us belonged to someone else. We had to buy another phone but from Assurance line directly bc the other phone was locked.
So any Tmobile sim card will also work on the phones Assurance give to you?
I think you can use any Sim card since the phone is the same as you would get from any carrier.

@@chulita8924 Assurance sims are tied to the phone they give you. And until that phone is unlocked after 12 months you are stuck with assurance.

Finally just bought a branded AW one off ebay
I had assurance wireless. But they hinder their customer phone experience. I had gotten a unlocked Samsung a53 5g for xmas and was told by assurance wireless that i cant use the phone cause it wasn't purchased from assurance website. So i switches to safelink. And asked for a sim card so i can use their service instead. I now have a better phone then assurance wireless phones and better service.

I think you can only use the Sim card with the phone they send, when I tried activating on the website, it already has the Sim card linked to this phone.

I like it, a lot better than the previous, outdated phone they sent. I do wish it had more memory, it's very low on internal memory. And recording a video is weird, if you make a 4 minute plus video, the phone has to take just as long as the video to process..so weird, never seen a phone do that

Yes, Assurance offered this to replace the Unimax UM693 which isn't completely compatible with T-mobile.

I fully charged the phone then put in sim card - it has welcome to talk and screen is hidden - I have spent hours - no home screen cannot call 611 to activate like the instructions. And I know calling customer service for assurance wireless are terrible. I am very frustrated.

I remember my first free phone was a small stick phone that I had for years, then this year I received an upgrade to a kinda small touch screen phone similar to the first touch screen phone I ever owned.
Then I received another upgrade to this Motorola phone which looks similar to the phone I paid $200 for back in 2020. It amazed me how far free phones have come with this premium looking model, specs aren't perfect but great considering it's free.

I had a hard time getting my phone l kept getting the run around on my computer. She said send this and finally about four months later and ran across a lady signing people up after she got all the information she got out one of the free phones and activated it. Well I went back to the 99 cent store and passed by her both and she asked do you want me to sign you up for a phone I pulled out the phone and told her I had signed up earlier. I think she recognized my voice from all the time I talked on the phone. She said that you are not qualified for the phone to hand it over. She followed me all the way back to my car trying to get the phone. It was crazy.

And there is a company called tone cons of account Communications and they and Citi Communications gear anuu Tab 8 tablet with 20 GB of data for high-speed data and that was for the evv plan but I believe Town comes gives the same amount for a CPA I don't know about the other company City Communications. I am not with assurance wireless anymore because they lied to me sent me a garbage trash phone the umx phone that broke two days after receiving it from i called assurance wireless they told me that my replacement phone would be the same trash phone i told them i didn't want that phone so i canceled their service then went to qlink wireless they use the same tmobile network then i brought a used tmobile note 8 smartphone and qlink wireless sent me a tablet assurance wireless is a joke
I agree, the only thing they had I liked was unlimited hotspot that worked amazingly. I could have 5 devices running off my phones hotspot and they all worked like gold. Other than that they’re pure trash. $80 for a replacement phone. I never had one last longer than a month so I dumped them. I get beggars can’t be choosers, but at least give us something that actually works. The charging ports kept falling right out of the damn phone. Then $80 for a replacement when the program is supposed to be for those who are struggling. Doesn’t even seem legal being that it’s a government program.
