CaseyNeistat I got glass in November of 2013. The battery life was horrible and the video is only 720P. Thats OK, but it lacks image stabilization. I would expect more for the $1500 dollars I paid. Voice commands are amazingly great and having the ability to snap a picture with just a wink of your eye is awesome. Glass has bugs and recently there is a software upgrade that improves battery life by 40 percent. I suggest you upgrade the firmware or just go to glass in NYC and have them do it for you. I don't like drawing attention to myself or making swiping motions on the side of my head so I hardly use it anymore. The Glass support team really was a disappointment then but they may have improved. Glass can now be found on Ebay for $600 to $800 since anyone can purchase it now,

Naw... I almost spent the 1400 in the pilot program. Did a little research and it really was not worth it. The price point is way to high right now. Max I would pay is like $200-$300.
I guess it's worth it if you have the kind of money to blindly, headfirst spend the money on things like that and every iPhone just to flaunt or for whatever personal reason. Either way, the product doesn't look like much so I kind of agree with your price.
I have to wonder if when you are filming you have to adapt a strange method of moving smoothly- almost as if you were flowing along. It would be pretty obvious and probably funny to see what you look like. I have a set of HD video glasses I use for FPV in my hobby- I find it requires some consideration in how you position your head and the way I move- no abrupt motions and every nod or turn of the head has to be gradual like all my movements are in slomo.
