What you have said is correct sir it is good to avoid at home .smell will linger about a month and if heat is applied causes lot of un desirable some effects. Not good for kids.if interested can read about the effects of epoxy paints

Really epoxy is not hygienic so plz don't use epoxy I have done projects with it and I am plastic engineer too....so plz avoid chemical based things to furnish homes and minimize the quantity of using micro & nano plastics bcoz it is non recyclable....thank you...
