Gilbert.
Missing details: Treaty of Paris 1898 was signed between the USA and Spain, this treaty is about Spain basically selling Cuba, Puerto Rico, Philippines and Guam to the USA for $20 million and this would end the Spanish-American war but also the start of Philippines-American war in 1898. Ps. this was taught to us Filipinos during Elementary to learn about American Imperialism after our Spanish colonization.
I must say it is difficult that native people in a language talk too fast and don’t annunciate things well. I take the approach that I will not have someone baby talk me in real life so I attempt to watch natives at full speed as much as I can. It is crazy because this woman does an excellent job annunciation and the slower speed does an excellent job making easier to understand. Obviously she does this on purpose and it is a neat approach. I would recommend also listening to natives in real speed to those who don’t. To be honest I have so much practice at real speed that this is really hard to watch. It feels extremely unnatural and I am like just get on with it already. But I know my former self would really appreciate this pace.
@@akashas6012 you missed the point completely, I was explaining that as a beginner it can be upsetting that native speakers don’t annunciate and talk too fast. But hang in there because there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you will actually prefer people to speak at their normal pace. Plus your recommendation actually doesn’t even help what I actually said which is that it sounds unnatural. It would simply sound unnatural at a faster pace. So good luck on all your future trolling I hope it makes you feel better about yourself.
One reason Puerto Ricans may not choose independence is because of the unfortunate history of coups and revolutions in Latin America and especially in former U.S. possessions, Cuba and the Philippines.
QUESTION FOR THE CREATORS: So, I’m now on your email list and the email lists of whoever you sold my address to so I could get a transcript from the website. But this video is not in the list. How long after you post a video in youtube do you post your transcripts on the website? And can you please add dates of video release to the list or better yet, a search function. It’s incredibly tedious to look through the very long list to find what you’re looking for. Happy to have found this site. The video selection looks muy interesante.
Hey!! Sorry to hear you couldn't find it. We don't really sell the email addresses! But we do add people to StoryLearning's email list with their consent when they sign up :) Regarding the video list, the quickest way is to use the search bar. Let us know if you find it! It should be up as soon as the video is posted.

It’s better than the entire west coast!
Puerto Ricans voted to stay a part of the United States. They were given a choice to be free and they rejected sovereignty.
That was for the benefit to be citizen of united state
But you also must consider the percentage of yes votes and no votes.
Majority Rules
