There’s no hippie island anymore, so as a solo traveller you won’t really meet many people compared to other tourist spots, and there’s no nightlife. Therefore I only needed one night/two days arriving on a Friday morning and leaving on Saturday night. Awesome place.
Totally agreed but it depends on your perspective as a traveller/explorer. Hampi is filled with ancient sites/temples etc which in itself is a subject to study & experience. If you love to observe & study architectural brillance of ancient india then even 1month is not enough for Hampi. About night life ideally that place was never meant for night life. It is still a very scared place 🙏☺️

I visited Hampi 2 months ago. I think if you want to look into the details of Hampi, you need 5 days. The beauty of Hampi is not just the gorgeous carvings. A behind the scenes look is something amazing. The technology, the methods used is full of awe. Rock cutting technology. In the 14th and 15th century. Examples are everywhere. The line of cuts on a rock, holes, where they would put sticks into. Then put hot water, repeating the process. The wood of the sticks would expand. And the rick would spilt in a line..that's how they started the pillars etc. The lathe system, near the exit of the royal enclosure. The water cooling system in the lotus mahal. Clay pipes in the walls, where water sprinkler effect. Imagine this in the 14th/ 15th century. The reverse camera pinhole technique in the Virupaksha temple. The wheels of the stone chariot used to turn. And the whole chariot could be turned around..now, it's cemented to prevent vandalism. The marvelous water canal systems. It's just so amazing..the stone plates and bowls. The basic Indian thali with katories.. a canal nearby, would wash the thalis when water was released. The monolith stone doors, with a locking device. These could only be opened and closed with the help of the elephants. And so much more. It's amazing. It transport you to another world. Imagine all this in the 14th/ 15 century. That's why,,,, if you want to look at the deeper intricate aspects of Hampi then al least 5 days are needed. But, thank you anyway for your very informative video. I consider Hampi a wonderful place, and a beautiful experience of life in that era. It's something, if you get a chance to go and see it's really worth it. Beautiful, gorgeous India.
