Blue Dahlia (Audio) | Kevin Robles

Blue Dahlia is a solo for 4.3 octave marimba composed by Kevin A. Robles (b.2002). It is about the friendships that we create in life and all the ways they affect us. It features a beautiful melody that flows over arpeggiated chords. The melody, along with the chords, creates a sense of serenity. The music has a feeling of longing that brings back memories of good times in life, and unforgettable moments with old friends. The melody is reminiscent of flowers in a field, and the flower in the center is the sole Blue Dahlia.
