  • In this video, I will go over how to test compression in each of your cylinders. I will also show you how to use a compression gauge. Low compression can be a result of bad valve springs, blown head gaskets, cracked block, or bent valves. In my case, I was checking to see if my head gasket was blown.

    Too much coolant in the reservoir. The max line located on the top side halfway down the tank towards the headlight.

      It was overflowing due to a head gasket leak, thus making compression leak into the cooling system making it overflow. Check my head gasket series to see that progression.
