I really like Moss garden. The sound of the dog barking in the distance. Reminds me of my pet dog that I had to leave in Portugal, when I moved to Canada. I like the 3 tunes put together.
Was b side of beauty and the beast. We used to play it on the juke box in our local pub The Fat Ox. The owner used to go crazy and took it off.He was a big Presley fan.
love David in spirit mind and well everything , I met in ny york city , young i was at 18 at pysedellic furs concert, ny your sweetness was everthing to me. Robbi Jackson
This album along with 'Low' and 'Lodger' always sounds fresh and will never date. These three tracks are the pearls in the shell. Thanks for uploading this.
It is not just a moment of silence and retrospect to him , but a true view into the eyes of David`s life and wonderful spiritual outlook, he was and is so important to me even today. Robbie Jackson
When I was 15 I was blown away by this album. I loved language and my best friend at the time was a talented artist. We formed an idea to create almost a gallery piece featuring these three tracks, a long horizontal painting that flowed from each theme to the other, and some words that somehow connected them. The idea being that the "audience " would move slowly along the painting. Not very practical. I wrote the words but he never did the painting . I found my scribblings the other day - please be kind : I know they are kinda crap but I was only 15. They may also seem kinda dark, but I was trying to reflect how I felt the music at the time . Try if yu can to read the words to each individual track (hopefully that will make better sense) : Sense of Doubt : Gentle waves flicker in moonlight, kiss the silent shore where children weep, clouds crush thought and breed confusion, I knew this land but now ? Listen to the wind. Cold teeth tear the sky. Night is calm (with that orange glow) yawning sleepily. The distant horizon, what is on the other side ? Listen to the wind. Moss Garden : Welcome to the garden, wander in the sunlit corners of your mind. Clutch at your vision, the spinning colours/light, so far away. Touch the soul of everything but beware - reality is waiting open jawed. Take a lazy summer memory, watch it slowly burn, like a candle flickers in the draught of tomorrow. Escape the glassless windows, shut your eyes. Sleep is round the corner. Neukoln : Cold and dark, primeval columns of timeless chrome, scratch the sky and stretch into an imagination, stained with loveless silhouettes. Screaming mutant towers of madness, built by the children of mass-production. Twisted mess of tortured dreams slithers to reflect the sun. And crawls away. To spread the grasping structure into slime-filled gutter eyes
I love his instrumental pieces as much as his vocals...just wow
The crowning masterpiece of Berlin-era Bowie
The atmosphere is haunting and beautiful.

Hahaha
I'm a big Bowie fan
Would have worked great with "Warszawa" and "Art Decade". Lovely Friday night at the pub with some nice music people can dance to. 😂
Love the songs and photos of David in that black jacket.
I wish that everybody on Earth could listen to these!

Brian Eno worked with Eno on this.... That is what is so spacey and poetic.....
Eno's best work was always with Eno.

Sounds like an Expressionist movie turned into a soundtrack.
It appeared on Christiane F. It was done very effectively. Go see it.
¿ wtf ? ...... the classic cliché " comment " .....GO AN " LISTEN " to shakira ...and tell how it "sounds" to ALL OF US ....
