->when used in the public; people would use the meme in the incorrect way or just don't get it all. (basically not relatable; just plain funny)
->people doing meme reviews / pewdiepie basically ruined this. If look at nov 2017 to 2019; it's really upsetti.
-> People calling down on memes that were used last month. Saying: " that meme is old" when it literally was a month past basically making others wanting to use less of the meme.
-> Since the meme is not relatable in a way to add a choice of your own stuff to it or if it can't be changed in different ways for different unique versions. It led to memes dying quickly too.
-> If meme is too complex and not simple enough. People might not want to put in effort in recreating it or spreading it.

Most of the memes are many years old when they hit the top, even existing as memes, like dolan was from early 05, momo first showed up in 07, Ricardo Milos was a popular meme on 4chan's flash board in 06 and was a regular low roar in gay and gif threads all over the site. Pepe was very popular for over a decade before 2016, the navy seal copypasta is from 05 or 06, "ding fries are done" predates Y2K and went viral over Christmas 1999, I can't even remember the name of the program you needed to play these old videos, I think it was mpeg based but it predates flash.

4 Chan is also the reason way the late 2000s and early 2010s data is a little lower than it should be other than having almost no internet.
Just because a show is good doesn't mean it can't be a meme, the most likely reason MLP was a meme was because of the "bronies" (I think that's how you spell it)
