I really feel like this is Homeworthy when it started. I really love to see homes that are creatively designed, and not always designer top dollar designed.

Not my style but at least it’s not an episode where the homeowner is just trying to show outspend the previous episode.
I agree with you, but the guy featured in this episode is also likely rich/a trust fund baby - not multimillionaire rich, but still rich. This apartment is huge for NYC standards and the fact that he can pursue a career in arts while living here suggests that it's just wealth manifested in a different form.

Love to see artists homes sprinkled among all the designers you feature. Scott has such a colorful whimsical style that is truly from his soul. It's interesting to hear the stories of the pieces he chose and the colors that inspire.
It’s a total mess my ocd is spiked but I appreciate the individualism. Living in a flat in London I find these tours more relatable (even though it’s way too long) and creative than the big Dallas mansions.

I was trying to find the words. Such a quirky, fun space. 😊 It's such a fun space and his personal aesthetic is reminiscent as well. He chooses joy and fun in the space.

I love it all! I came back to cursive at 51 and I have really enjoyed doing it every day like an art practice. never stopped especially my very legible signature.
I love when Homeworthy features artists. Their style of decorating is so creative and refreshing and inspiring. I completely resonated with Scott's decorating style and I love their artwork. I feel like this a fresh and modern version of the British home Charleston of the painters Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. I love the pops of pink and curiosity cabinet melange of collections. It is so warm and inviting. Great job getting all those objects playing well together.
Hahaha, I also have my TV covered. I didn't want this big black thing disturbing my Iight colour palette. I covered it with a golden curtain.
Love this personal, cozy creative space. The boy with the dog painting is “French Boy with Dog”, by either artist C. Bremont or Arthur Devis. The mystery remains unresolved.

Where do I begin? I lurve Scott's paintings, especially the large green painting with the cursive writing! So many wonderful examples of creative design problem-solving ideas that are doable for everyone with limited space and funds. Well done!

So beautiful. I love that little couch (I am sure, there’s a fancier name for it) and, although there’s a lot for the eye, it’s still calming.
Absolutely lovely! I feel like the bones of the apartment are pretty basic but they made it feel so special and charming.

Scot has a very interesting way of decorating. The apartment is done up with a hodgepodge of items but they all seem to fit and blend with one another. I love the bright colors of the paintings. Is that red brooch a lobster? That is so cool!

What a hot mess! Not in a bad way per say. Specially when it makes him happy! To me it looks like an antique store that I’d love to browse through and also buy from but not live in. Love his art.

Really like some of the details: watermelon rug, pink bar cart, coral lamp. Also think the painted "framing" (not sure what the decorative detail is actually called) is a cool and cute idea as it reminds me of the original wood "framing" details on the walls of my Gram's old school Brooklyn tenement apartment. Gram often had each room in her apartment painted in the brightest (some might say garish 😂) colors--a different color for each room. This has made me ever so slightly sentimental 🫶🏾

I love it, it's refreshingly different from the same ol' stepford wives decor who are interior designers and one big AD.
While I enjoy all of Homeworthy's tours, this is one of my favorites. It has an abundance of personality and creativity. Too many of the professional decorators' homes appear too staged and unlived in. Scott's home is one of the few that are so welcoming and inviting. The Garlic Festival was a blast, so it was a treat to see the poster. Thank you Scott for sharing your home with us. I hope Homeworthy has more tours such as this.

I can’t say this place is “decorated “ everything is just plonked there with his childish artwork .
What a great space Scott has created ~ it reinforces that you can have a home that reflects your interests, collections, tastes, without spending a fortune or without waiting to create that home, regardless the budget. As your resources, opportunities , access/knowledge increase, you’ll carry those early DYI objects, ideas, treatments forward.
Finally - not just another generic interior designer flogging their homewares on their online shop .....

I prefer this to the so called 'designer' homes where 'the magic happens' featuring dull blonde in frilly dress. It is individual and creative while reflecting personal values there are some really good parts here. I particularly love that dog painting and unlike the fore mentioned i could easily watch until the end. Thanks
