I see you work with your pond. I do not know what you have in mind but I can guess. If you like to have a nice clean pond You can do this 3 simple steps to start with and you will see a major change in a month and if you do this I will give you advice for the next step to make it more suitable for racing healthy fish. 1. make a trellis and grow some vines over the pond to shade the pond (if the pond gets a lot of sun it will go green. Algae will grow faster (not the floating algae are the bad guys and has to scoop and through away but the algae that stick to the bottom and the side pls do not wash those away cause those are the good once to clean the pond. )) 2 Get some pea gravel pebbles from the river and cover the bottom of the pond for the good algae to grow on to encourage giving oxygen to the water also a good good food for your fish. 3 Get some water plants from the river and grow it in the pond like lotus, water lily. floating hyacinth, and many other floating plants you can see in your rivers there. Start with those once and will help you the next step
