I just tested this out to make sure I'm giving you a good answer... it looks like zero tokens for a 2s or 4s video. Going to an 8s video costs 40 tokens. Free users are limited to 10 generations a day, personal use only, and all generations are public.
I've been using Haiper since it was free, started using it for childrens videos (I think it's fine for that) but when I went towards non childrens satire content it's been failing me. It does a terrible job making characters talk. The movement is super janky no matter how many times I prompt and reprompt, the movement is also incredibly slow no matter what I do. The new AI from China and the gen 3 versions of AI video look amazing but are way too expensive for a new youtube channel like mine. I'll probably quit paying for Haiper soon because it has many issues and the 720p quality isn't cutting it.
I hear you!! I just posted a video taking Runway's Gen 3 for a test drive. It's OK, but not something I'm willing to pay the price for either. I don't think Haiper should be charging at all, based on my experience with it. But, there are plenty of videos raving about how these things are "so good!" 🤷🏽♂️ I'm liking Hedra for lip-sync. Way better than runway.
