So on the tire it says 18 but the hub cap was smaller so it wouldn’t fit?
What is the measured dimension of the wheel cap. Please watch again the video, I think it explains well the difference between the tire dimension and the wheel cap / rim dimension.
so do i order hubcaps based on the number on the tire ie 18? im still confused
Amy, it is in deed confusing. If you are missing hubcaps, yes you order based on what is on the tire.
The video is also addressing another topic: if you find a hubcap, on which size rims it goes. But this is not your problem.
