WOW! How to Make a Powerful Wireless Tank

So, first off thank you, nice video. As a total noob (and noob might not even describe me, I know nothing; yet) how do you determine what motor driver to use? In your video, you're using the L298N but I've seen other videos that use the L293D. You solder your wire motor connections but I've seen motors that have a pin wire connection come out of them with multi-colored wires. Where can a person like me, that knows nothing (yet), go to learn in simple, baby steps, the how-tos? I've watched many videos that, in MHO, claim to be for beginners or noobs but they all seem to expect or assume that you know something of the subject. Any help from you or your viewers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

l298n is dual motor l293d can control 4 motors and servos the colors does not matter its about the pins from the l298n and the arduino/esp32 pins,,,, another option is that what you saw is a dc motor with encoder which come with wires out of it
i am also not very strong in electronics but what i did is that i bought arduino kit with a lot of sensors and start to follow very simple projects in youtube like blinking a led or programing simple motor to run forward and backward and and follow them ,,,now i can say i have enough knowledge to build my own projects
buy arduino kit from internet and start making simple projects and slowly you can build you own big project my advice is that you should take a parts your project and build each part and in the end assemble all together this make it much easier and more fun and enjoy it
