This is by far the most honest and best attempt of building a 3d printer from (mostly) scrap parts.
just awesome!!! bt we need more clearance like the name of the instruments clearly...
Thanks again for your help.
Great work Nd build
Awesome project after 5 months
Superb bro...
After a long time ,
Nice 3D printer 👍
It would be very interesting to have the .ino file instead of the .hex file in order to calibrate the stepper motors so the 3d printer would work correctly. In addition we would need the characteristics of dvd motors (steps/rev, rating) to programme the arduino sketch. Thanks for sharing your printer.
It’s amazing. People like you are smart enough to do this, and are not rich and famous, and own a huge tech company
mmm I'm not sure about endstops! I tried to use them on my "DVD drives laser engraver" but the motors haven't enough force to activate the momentary switch
Wow!
May I ask how accurate the cube came out please?
I have been thinking of doing something similar but with a dremel type flexible end on it.
The idea being to make small pcb's and engrave plastics and perhaps soft metals.
Incredible my friend. It´s the first time I have seen a DIY 3D printer and I´m wondered! Cheers from Argentina!
Impressive! Very, very good build quality. Appreciate the work, man. Keep it up!
I really like how you used 2 stepper motors for the x and y motion, my question is, wouldn't they wear out pretty quickly since they arent designed for this application?
3d printers use the same
Thank you for the clarification, but I have a question about how to connect a four-pole DVD drive I don't know the meaning of each pole I know just connect a normal drive is positive and negative only
Parabéns pelo vídeo. O CZcams deveria recomendar.
Super amazing cool project I love it 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌

This is an awesome schoolproject to learn. might give something like this a go together with my son

can I use another DVD writer to change floppy drive?
My brother and i made this project . It works like a real 3D printer
Awesome
Hello i'm building this project with Marlin as firmware, but i'm getting some precision issues with the stepper from the cd-roms, for example, 1 mm moves you have to tap two times to do it, for 0.1mm you have to tap 11 times to do it, how can you pass this? (tap the direction arrow on print run)
Thanks in advance...
Great job for a first time 3D printer project! Can you provide the dimensions of the aluminum frames and the correct distance from the extruder to the acrylic platform?
Bro your awesome

bonuse points for not squaring the axis so the cube isnt entirly square! gotta love eyeballing the angles!
The question is can you now use this to print a better 3d printer to be continued.
czcams.com/video/kOBU5rlUjkc/video.html
Great project; excellent presentation. I would think that you may get better prints if you can find a way to shorten the distance from filament stepper and hot end.
I really appreciate your work !
Super clean and even cleanest Indian video
Hello sir ,
Can u tell me on which software the design are made ...
So, with this setup, what are the maximum dimensions of plotted objects?
A well build project with a sturdy design. Really liked the project bro...
Can i change the size of the printing platform . Ifelse what is the size and can you give all the link because dome of them are outdated
Nice video👌👌👌
It's really great work 3D printing and your work like James bond....
Impressive, it was amazing
Your 3d printer is awesome. But i want to know something. Can XLoader create andcontrol all stepper and floppy drive or i should program for that motors
It's so amazing
*We need more Indian CZcamsrs like you!!*
Enough of skits and vlogs
This soundtrack rings a bell 🤔 Great Scott Electronics channel 😲😲🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤸🏿♂️🤸🏿♂️🤸🏿♂️🤸🏿♂️🤸🏿♂️
Máquina linda parabéns 👏👏👏
I'm curious.. what is the maximum height for print?
Great tutorial, thank you !
Hey man... The link has broken for circuit diagram and code, can you provide another?
I love this project !!!
it made me excited. İs it possible to do big printer like 1meter-1meter with the same source that you used?
Nice work friend...
I love how the print thats on the heat bed thats in the thumbnail is a different colour to what is actually being put in the extruder😂😂😂 sorry man i dont mean to hate btw great job it looks amazing👍
it's the same milling machine, check the plastic cable (is still green, he only changed the cube/printed thing ) only the object was colorized so it looks better... green isn't really a good color for thumbnail that small... he is amazing though fkin made this stuff home, however i bet he researched it for a long time before he learned it himself.
What are the dimensions for the composite panels? and where'd you buy them? And some of the other stuff weren't listed in the description. If anyone knows, please say so. Thanks.
How did u solved the heating problem in dvd stepper motor??
I did used dvd writer stepper motor as z axis for my nozzle. But motor gets heat up too much. I am worried it's coil will get burn. I did changed the current through potentiometer on the stepper driver to reduce heating, but eventually it didn't generated the required torque to lift my nozzle assembly.
What should I do??
Apnar paye pori dada! Ashirbad korun! :) :) Kaaj chaliye jaan! :D

no servo for Z axis?
k i see it at 4:11.
short volume but awesome build to recycle old electronic.
thks for sharing.
Waited for your project its awesome .
Thank you
+Tapendra Mandal which glue you use sir and sheet and plzz sent all material required
Are bhai... Your work is awesome but_ You must have to give the examples of 2 or 3 3D Objects and the clear view of the objects... You are like just skipping it !
Hi Tapendra, can you please tell me where you got the plastic mount for the hot end head?
Man !! You are genius bro !!
Hi! I´m a professor and I love this proyect! I would like to do it with my students. Could you please put the circuit plan link again? Because the file gives an error at unzipping. Cheers from Uruguay!
What? You're a professor?
It's a open source firmware? (Really good project, thanks to share)
Can someone tell me what would be the effect if my power supply could give 3amps instead of 5A as in vid
Very good idea, I may also build one based on it. If only you could enhance the strength of support structure for better stiffness, better precision can be expected.
can you modify this to make a lazer engraver
4:24 That noise scared the shit out of me 😂
Amazing , Your are true innovator and thanks for posting this great idea .
Awesome stuff man.
Keep it up!!
Posting a file with dimensions will be great.
Awesome work bro. 😍😍

Wow. This is perfect. Congratulations.
this project is good but sir ji but which type of switches have you used in the side of hotend and the platform
Sir make a arduino based fire fighting robot with ultrasonic sensor
I dont know, how the fck i am gonna make one even after seeing your video. But im subscribing anyway.
what are the part needed in both the DVD driver and the Floppy disk and could you make this using a arduino uno?
hello, good video I just have a problem with the file my pc says it is damaged or unknown format I do ???
Step 1: Buy a 3D printer
Step 2: Print a 3D printer
Step 3: Return the 3d printer
Edit: This comment is not original, I "stole" it.
it's a good idea =)))
Bought -> Return ? Why?
@Zg Programeri He forgot about mechanics, and electronics.... Plastics are to cheap and it's a little percent of all. So this 3 steps are crap....
@@strunapl6103 it was a joke dude😂😂
Brilliant
I like the vid, but I found myself replaying most of the clips because there wasn’t enough time for me to look at it and process it.

Amazing Bro... Hats off to you
Nice job.....
This young man needs to be studied by NASA.

Indians are very skilled, in fact they are known as the extremely risk takers at electronics, because they use basic things at building huge, at another level inventions. Nice job indians!
Wow.. awesome dude! Great job! Thanks for share.

At the end there's a red print with a green filament loaded in the printer 😂😆
That’s because the filament takes a while to change to another filament
Bro you are a living genius
YOU ARE GENUIS!!!
OMG... how did you even make it so that your computer recognizes how much is done (if you notice)
And what about programming the arduino ??
7:30 he is using XLoader. Instead of regular .ino file he used HEX file.
@@kanadnemade so the Xloader contains the arduino program ?
Update?
puro agun.... dada
Good video. Could you do this again but use old printers? (For a larger build volume)
I don't like the fact that you're hiding the imperfections of your creation. This video is supposed to inspire people to create a replica of what you just did at home. This will cost people money and time. When you try to hide the parts that have failed in your print, that just makes me wonder what else did you hide from us. And with that said, you've not gained my trust in trusting you that what you just built was built purely from what we've seen in the video and I just can't trust that your video is actually something worth replicating.
Thank you, but I'm out.
I agree you can still see at the end with the finished print he doesn't show all the sides of the print. Just the good faces. However, the bad sides can still be seen slightly.
Don't bully him. He's just trying to help us all. Not everything is perfect. He is just trying to show how to make a 3D printer at home.

¡Gracias! ¡Estoy totalmente de acuerdo!
@Shay Axelrod: Well then, instead of simply bitching about all of his mistakes and how you don't trust him. I guess that you should put up YOUR video of YOUR PETFECT homemade 3D Printer so we all know exactly how it's done.
re upload the link is damaged mediafire
you should extract each and every thing from the rar file to get the firmware, circuit diagram and xloader
what is the dimenson of aluminium angel we are requesting you to comment on it please and what are you using to hold the htend in the floppy driver
Hi nice video I have a question my hotend is not heating up what should I do can u help me or someone please
