    This carpet cleaner did a great job. Some people say carpets are never truly clean but really neither is any area of your house. There’s always a small amount of dirt inside your home no matter what type of flooring you have.

    ooh thank you again your videos and comments have really helped me. I've just bought a Bissell Hydrowave At £184.81. I have hardwood stairs and its main regular use will be deposits from a small, fluffy white, much loved dog whose favourite occupation is foraging in dirt and eating rubbish to be sicked back on the downstairs rug or upstairs carpets. The hard flooring doesn't seem as appealing. I would like a Vax spot wash for chairs if I ever see one discounted. Until then it'll be the brush and foam method. Keep up the good work.

    I had the Powerforce Powerbrush Pet version of this (sold at Walmart here in the US) and it was decent as a budget carpet cleaner. I had mine for like 3 years and it never broke and always did its job.

    Very good tutorial but, would have liked to have seen it unboxed, as I'm trying to rebox mine for replacement at Argos and can't work out where the two handle parts go in the box. Ooops, after studying the reverse side of the two mouldings for 2 minutes - spotted where they go 🙂

      Thankyou for this comment! I was going around the twist trying to get mine back in for warranty issue and this saved me!
      Curious if your issue was the rubber belt melting the plastic and preventing the brush from rolling?

      @ibaisaic  Před 2 lety

      I have a very similar version that just washes. I will be doing another video on it at some point but if it's anything like the 6131 the pump won't be working when I plug it in.

    • @DJBJ24
      @DJBJ24 Před 2 lety

      @@ibaisaic ahh yes the V020TA, from what I saw its pretty much exactly the same machine but without the dry cleaning parts. And orange of course vs Blue. If you bought the round HEPA filter and a bag, Twist to unlock and remove the float valve assembly and push on the filter it would be ready for dry cleaning. The moulded slots for the bag collar to slip into should be there behind the hose port.

    I must be around your Mums age so found the video useful. re manoeuvrability. I would like the PowerClean X2 with upholstery tools. but cant seem to find any videos for that one. I particularly would like to know whether these smaller machines work with drive belts as I couldn't manage cleaning the brushes if there are screws to undo.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 2 lety

      Yes, both machines use a drive belt that will need replacing if it breaks. You will need to undo screws to change the belt but how to do this is shown in the instruction book.

    • @janetdobson8991
      @janetdobson8991 Před 2 lety

      Thank you so much. I don't need anything large and heavy.. Just a relatively compact light machine with tools for chair cleaning and the ability to maintain without belts to change and screws to remove. Not much to ask for but hard to find. Like your mum I have a much loved furry friend . A cute little white Cavachon who loves foraging in dirt and eating rubbish that she chooses to sick on the rug or upstairs carpets. The hard floors don't see so appealing. My best option now seems the Swan Dirtmaster.pro. I've loved your videos which have helped me not to make an expensive mistake. Bissell Hydrowave fits my easy to maintain needs but has no tools and a minuscule dirty water tank. The Vax smart machine looks super easy to look after but is a little grand for my needs and the Vax ones with the spin brushes look too big and heavy. All the others seem to have belts and screws.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Před 2 lety

      I think you’ll regret getting the Swan, but it’s your choice. Ive never needed to change the belt on any of the Bissell carpet washers I’ve used.

    The dirty water tank doent allow much to collect before full. Seems too big for what it collects, thought it may fill to at least half way. Good demonstration though defo seems worth the £100

    One of my friends has one of these but the brush has stopped spinning around

    • @JediJan
      @JediJan Před rokem

      In the basic instruction booklet there are simple instructions for replacing the brush roll and belt. There are only 3 Phillips head screws to remove to do this. The booklet does not say how often this may need to be done though. I assume you can order these direct from the store you purchased the cleaner from, or contact Bissell for parts. (There may be some on eBay too). My first guess would be to clean the brush roll properly as it may just be lint that is restricting the movement. I have not used mine as yet, but my previous model’s brush roll did get a bit of lint build up around the roll, so it was important to clean it properly before putting away.
